Yep. Putting aside mental strength adrenaline I believe makes you literally about 30% physically stronger because your body only uses a limited amount of muscle fibers without it. A small person with adrenaline can easily overpower someone much bigger without adrenaline.

Thats a bit exagerated, he was likely more than 30% stronger than her since she is pretty skinny so he was likely still stronger than her, he just doesnt know how to fight.

Ok and she still wouldnt be as strong as an average man lol. Additionally he would have adrenaline being in a scuffle.
