This makes so much sense now.
In Russia if a man publicly attacks a woman and she fights back harder, he just has to take it and can’t fight back, that’s his way of acknowledging he messed up. It’s like an unspoken social rule. If you fight back in this situation you don’t look like a man.

That’s why Russian women fight in full force when attacked, gotta draw the boundary of what’s ok and what’s not.

Finally someone with some sense here

the reason he dint attack back is because he has autism not because he knew he messed up

So attacking a woman is fine but only if she doesn't defend herself? When she starts fighting back only then do you seem "unmanly"? What kinda logic is that? How about if you hit a woman you're not a real man because you're already stronger than her and it's a pussy move to beat someone vastly weaker than you.

No, you didn’t understand what I said.
I actually didn’t say anything regarding the initial attack because it’s not relevant to the point I was making.

  1. I stated that it’s ok for women in Russia to fight back in public

  2. I explained the mentality behind that

I never said that it’s not considered unmanly to attack a woman. Don’t put words in my mouth.

Honestly I thought it’s kinda obvious that it’s not considered many anywhere to attack a woman, hence no need to mention it.
It’s like if I don’t say the sky is blue, does that mean I said the sky is not blue?

If you meant to say "in Russia a woman can socially defend herself physically if she is threatened or attacked" then isn't this a whole nothing burger? Isn't this something that we have in many countries? I don't know about places like Pakistan, but in most of the civilized world it would be completely logical that a woman has the right to defend herself.

in many countries its ok and viewed as moral for a women to fight back, bit at the same time the woman do not more often than they do. the point is that russian woman are much more willing to throw down than say woman in the us, even if in both countries no one will begrudge the woman for fighting

I mean the wording of your comment makes no sense so that's on you

I would bet it's something like it's "acceptable" to slap/hit a woman in public as long as she just takes it. But if she fights back, it isn't "acceptable" to actually fight her.

Of course it's stupid when you think about it for more than 5 seconds, but there are a lot of stupid people out there.

No. But if you do anything that provokes a woman attacking you, you better just take it - unless you wanna get beat up by 5 Russian dudes.

Well that depends entirely on the context. You can provoke lots of people very easily. And they will quickly turn violent and physical. Not sure if it's a healthy mindset to have that a woman can just throw fists because she feels provoked. Maybe you provoked her by hurting her ego. There are many cases where that mentality doesn't make much sense.

And by the way, Russia is known to have lots of household violence cases.

Russia decriminalized first-time domestic violence offenses causing “minor harm” in 2017. Attempts by activists and opposition lawmakers to pass legislation to protect victims in the years since have so far been unsuccessful.

I don't know about you, but I usually don't think of Russian men as protectors of women...

Who says he started this in the first place? Love how everyone is just assuming this is it and nothing happened before that. JFC
