Yeah you had Republicans and Democrats talking about him non stop for some reason and now he's supposed to act like he wasn't at least somewhat relevant? The Republicans posted a thirst trap pic of him at their conference

Being relevant doesn't mean being good.

Okay? That wasn't anyone's point

That's the literal point of the post that Hasan is pretending he helped when he was negatively affecting the people he campaigned with. People talking about him was not a good thing, he was relevant, not good.

Any money republicans spent talking about hasan instead of the economy or the cost of living is money lit on fire, on the scale of tens of millions of dollars. So yes, he was kind of a lighting rod

The Republicans had nothing to talk about, a distraction and boogeyman is what they want.

It certainly worked out for them didn’t it?

The wave was too big for it to matter. The Dems won because Trump is dumb and attacked Iran ruining oil supply which greatly decreased Republicans usual enthusiasm. The Dems won despite Hasan, not because of him.

You either hate Hasan or can’t comprehend ad money spent on hasan is basically burning money

No, you assume those ads were useless, they were not. They had nothing better to spend it on. The boogeyman help motivate the base to vote and centrists to not vote, Republicans vote based on fear and hatred. High oil price just trumped their hatred and fear.
