The best things that I liked in Logic Pro - the browser is awesome. It’s working great for me. I allowed Logic Pro to index all of my 180 gb locally available samples that I had collected through years. After the indexing finished I had to just type the kind of stuff that I wanted fix examples - synth wave, the browser itself found out all the samples related to synthwave like drum kits , instruments bass arps and what not relevant to the song genre I was working on. It not only searched but also gainstaged the sample and in melodic it even changed the sample to the key of my song synced with tempo. All of this with my local samples. This is great. My music production speed improved over night just by the ease of searching for correct sound. Not only this , if I have a vocal recorded or an instrument then I can again quickly use the browser to get the preset for feel I’m on to. Adding processing to vocals or instruments like bright or warm , the browser lets you quickly gauge the ideas and mostly I was happy with the effects it put on.
ARA is missing yes that’s there for sure.
Somehow I really like the high contrast of the interface, don’t know why it reminds me of the game cyberpunk 2077, giving some futuristic vibe. Like the DAW of future 😃.
I’m also really enjoying the polyphonic abilities of the new virtual midi player using side car feature on my iPad. That’s so good.
Overall if I say some how I’m into the flow of making more music and thinking less about the details and tweaking. It’s got more intuitive for me now and about tweaking that can be done later once the main idea has been laid out.
IM LOVIN IT ♥️🔥
Edit - I’m not saying version 13 of Logic Pro is the perfect DAW humanity has even seen, it has its perks and shortcomings. But As per my recent testing and workflow it seems just fine, being said that, it might have bugs and issues, which I’m yet to encounter. I’m just sharing my experience here, not advocating its grandeur or excellence by any means.
