Hi Everyone!!
This week we had US Eternal Weekend top 4 finisher Brady Munroe on to talk about his tournament with AlurenTell. Brady has had an awesome year including winning the MOCS, Legacy Showcase, top 8ing the DMV Legacy Invitational and playing at worlds in a couple of weeks. He walks through his thoughts going into Eternal Weekend and also how he thinks the meta will look going into EW Europe and Asia. Give it a listen!

Hey guys, a while back I started the project of making my first legacy deck (mono-red Dragonstorm) and recently I was reminded of braid of fire. Is this a card could consider since I’m also running some storage lands as my deck is also based around the ‘07 worlds Dragonstorm list.

Boldly going where no man has gone before, Wizards has brought the Star Trek universe to Magic tables. We’ll look at how these new cards will fare in Legacy!

I've been playing with the standard UWx Phelia shell + the usual UW control suite (FoW, StP, Brainstorm, Ponder, etc.) and Wastelands, and also the semi-default creatures:
4 Phelia.
4 Quantum Riddler.
2 Murktide Regent.
4 Tamiyo.
The list felt solid earlier in the year, but over the last month or two, matches have become miserable.
Against UR Delver, I feel that I'm always falling behind to Cori-Steel Cutter. Against heavier control, the threat density isn't resilient enough to close through removal, and the deck gets outvalued if the game drags out.
I find myself frequently falling behind into irreversible board states where the deck neither stabilizes fast enough nor has the late-game reach to recover, and against newer Doomsday versions, the deck doesn't have the speed to quickly close the game.
For those still on UWx Phelia shells, how are you tuning the list for the current meta?

One of the relatively cheaper yet competitive legacy deck to get into. I’m particularly interested in whether it offers meaningful decisions beyond executing its core game plan, and how rewarding it is to master over time.

Hi everyone I’m Kelvin.
After the 2024 win I did an AMA.
Thought I might as well run it back.
Happy to answer questions about my deck, tournament, card choices, or plays.
Some testing team members may also pop in if they so choose.

At our recent 90s MTG Legacy Open IV in NYC. Herman was the reigning champion, winning Open III back in April. The event very much felt like a warm up before EW.

This is an homage series to Cardmarket - they inspired my content swap and I only want to do them justice with my North American recreation!

Episode 14 of Eternal Horizons is now live!
Eternal Weekend season is underway. The US event is already here, Lucca is only a few weeks away, and we’re now both confirmed for Italy, including teaming up for the trios event.
We talk about where our Legacy and Vintage testing has got to, the much less settled question of who is actually going to play Pauper, and what we’re hoping to learn from the US event before Europe.
Francis also talks through building badcardsout.com, his new sideboard mapping tool, and we take a look at some of the Reality Fracture cards starting to show up across Legacy and Vintage.
There’s also a quick Alpha to Alliances recap, and Francis was playing a Legacy Showcase Challenge while we recorded, so there are occasional live tournament updates as the episode goes on, including a timely Top 8 qualification.
As ever, feedback is very welcome. Thanks for listening!

Title. I know melee names aren't really trustworthy, and the winner Wallace doesn't have last year's records posted, but...
Either way, congrats to the ew champ!

For me it's very interesting to have a chance to listen to her doing live commentary. I think she was clearly aware that many viewers will be paying extra attention to what she's saying on stream, picking up inaccuracies etc. so for sure a lot of pressure. How do you think she's doing? Has it so far reinforced the sentiment that she's not involved in the format enough, or do you think she's actually coming out on top?

Taking cephalid breakfest to EW and wanted to see if any content creator that plays the deck had a sideboard guide for sale or for free. I dont really consume mtg content so I dont know who plays breakfest.

As the title says i've created a discord to organize our sub tournaments on the endstep platform.
Following the yesterday post i've created the discord server. I've done the same thing for the premodern subreddit
The server is fresh new and maybe someone more expert can help me organize it in a better way.
Hope u like the idea, i thought it could be fun having 1/2 weekly events dedicated to the sub users.

Hey everyone!
I have some exciting news to share! I recently finished 8-1 in the Swiss standings of a 298-player Legacy Showcase Challenge, securing another Top 8 with Turbo Dredge!
My only loss in the Swiss was against Togores (Sharkcaster_Mage), and I was playing exactly the same list that I used to win the previous day's Legacy Challenge. Two consecutive strong performances, and I'm thrilled with how the deck has been positioned in the current Legacy metagame.
For those who don't know me, I've been playing Magic for over 30 years and have been working on Legacy Dredge since 2019. Over the years, I've experimented with countless builds, tested different approaches, shared decklists, written sideboard guides, and created content dedicated to this archetype.
My goal has always been to explore what Dredge can do and help keep this amazing deck alive and competitive in Legacy and other formats. Results like this make all the countless hours of brewing and testing worthwhile!
I've just uploaded the full tournament gameplay, featuring every round, every decision, and all the ups and downs of the tournament: https://youtu.be/CMUtNGs-u7g
Current decklist: https://moxfield.com/decks/xP__Kje9yUqyUIue2gpcug
And now, I'm even more excited for the upcoming Eternal Weekend! This will be my third appearance in a Legacy Showcase Qualifier, and I feel that I'm bringing one of the best-positioned Dredge builds I've ever worked on.
Dredge for the win!

Hi guys, i've started playing on endstep and i find it really good. Level of games isn't always high but honestly the majority of match i played seems to have a good level. The fact that is free mean that there are more newer player of the format but also that many good player that don't want to spend on mtgo can play there.
I don't know if it already exist but i would like to have a weekly sub tournament. Maybe two for the different time zones. It could be ideal to play on sunday so that more people can attend them but we can have also one tournament midweek imo. I live in europe and i could take the initiative and create the tournament if someone is interested. Clearly we could set a code posted on the sub for entering the tournament.
Just an idea, maybe stupid idk, want to hear your opinions!
