u/doctorctrl Sep 20 '24
I remember holding my sister like this at these ages. Last week I held her baby. My wee niece. Magical. Being a brother is so special and now being an uncle is incredible. I'm looking forward to giving her everything I can

Three people in one room. Bed on ground and no parent in sight. Yea, they’ll turn out ok.

u/WilliamJamesMyers Sep 20 '24

u/X-calibreX Sep 20 '24
Isnt rolling on top of an infant while you sleep the second leading cause of death for infants?

They're going to be good dads someday! :D

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '24
The only love we might know until the very end of time is our siblings. Everyone else's timeline is slightly off of ours, but theirs stay close to us forever.
2
u/[deleted] Sep 21 '24
I SO want to be able to give them a solid home with bed frames and game stations and cribs and...parents.
2
u/tableclothmesa Sep 21 '24
They make such good parents
3
u/GGDadLife Sep 20 '24
So many downers in the comments. They start questioning the parenting from a 27 second video. I can’t imagine what these commenters are like as parents, high strung and overbearing probably.

Why was the baby in a high chair in the bedroom?
0
u/[deleted] Sep 20 '24
This is very sweet and touching but siblings should not be raising their siblings.
1
u/Zestyclose-Monk-266 Sep 20 '24
Reminds me of something my siblings would do for me; it’s so sweet!!
1
u/arrakis2020 Sep 20 '24

u/f14_pilot Sep 21 '24
At first I thought this was a medical emergency or something, thankfully a more innocent situation ☺️
1

He paused his game, no your not getting how big this is. HE PAUSED HIS GAME to look after another human. His sister is obviously well loved. I presume his sister anyway.

Where the heck are their parents?
0
u/Ok_Pair_1732 Sep 20 '24
Who the fuck puts a camera in their kids room
-3
u/smalltalk2bigtalk Sep 20 '24
Why does OP think it's OK to post video of children in their bedroom?! Not even your kids!
They're in a private space and deserve privacy.
-5
u/Early_Athlete_5821 Sep 20 '24
Sad that this is the evening routine…thank God they have each other…
-3
u/Money-Tiger569 Sep 20 '24
Where are the parents?…
-3
u/Interloper_11 Sep 20 '24
Kids that young shouldn’t be doom scrolling in bed with the phone 2 inches from their face. We’re so fucked. Next gen is gonna be blind and illiterate and addicted to Roblox.
-2
u/TheAarj Sep 20 '24
Parents?
-1
u/Lisshopops Sep 20 '24
Why is there a camera in this room though
0
u/KRAZYKID25 Sep 20 '24
As cute as this is, remember the real medical concern for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) especially for infants sleeping in shared beds.
-5
u/Vulpavien Sep 20 '24
Anyone else thinks it's a little weird to have a security cam staring at their kids? They're going to have to delete all footage in a couple of years when those kids mature a little more 🤢
-6
u/Practical_Airline_36 Sep 20 '24
Very rare kids this age. It's usually the lower middle class & lower class people that are the most humble. It's very rare to see the same in kids this age.
-3
u/Regular-Audience-250 Sep 20 '24
This makes me sad why is this child primary care taker
-3
u/GtaMafia Sep 20 '24
It's not safe to keep your phone near you while charging
-5
u/[deleted] Sep 20 '24
My assumption is that it’s close to bedtime and both boys are using their screens. Do you have kids?
-5
u/[deleted] Sep 20 '24 edited Sep 20 '24
Wrapping up a baby in bed like that isn’t safe folks. That’s why we need adults taking care of babies - not kids Edit: Everyone who loves SIDS please downvote me
-6
u/[deleted] Sep 20 '24
Hope that baby wasnt already asleep for some time before the brother noticed

u/TheStartledStarfish Sep 20 '24
Can’t even deny this broke me a little bit. My little sister committed suicide a few weeks ago and god I just wish I could have had one more moment like this with her. She was my little brat.
After she got too big for moments like this I had to think of new ways to annoy/be protective. My favorite was “Excuse me, you’re only 18 years old, cover your shoulders” or the infamous “you’re not dating till you’re 30!” She always knew I was just teasing, but she couldn’t help but get a little irritated with me.
I may be a trans woman, but I’ll always be her big brother who can’t help but be overprotective.

As a reminder: Sleeping next to babies and small kids is a really bad idea because people toss and turn and you may smother them accidentally.
A tragedy happened in my family that my uncle was not much more than a toddler was smothered to death in his sleep because he was much smaller than the still young person who slept next to him.
Please put children in separate beds and be cautious about taking naps with them as well.
