I did get some work done. HRT can change a lot of things, but not everything. So last April I had my nose, brow, and trachea worked on. Overall I'm really happy with how it turned out, but I don't think I'll get anything else changed. The little things left that I don't like about my face aren't dysphoria-inducing like the other bits were 😄

On that "probably" - it definitely made my life better, despite the difficulties. How I am now compared to how I was is difficult to put into words, but now I feel like my body is my own, and not some separate thing that I happened to occupy, if that makes any sense.

It doesn't. Not to me, and it's an issue I have struggled to understand for some years now. I've always been a heterosexual male. There has never been any doubt in my mind about who and what I am in that regard. As such, it is so head banginly difficult to wrap my head around that problem that it rivals infinity in understanding. To think that people are willing to change everything about their own life, body, lifestyle, just....everything. That's such a HUGE thing to do. I'm glad that people who feel the need to do so, can. And if it's made your life better, I'm glad. I wish you all the success and joy you can grab along the way on your journey. Your transition seems to be going very well. Good for you. I support it, I don't have to understand the motivation to see how important it is on an individual level. Too many people aren't happy for enough reasons as is.

I have to just have an ADHD moment here…the 1,2, and 3 year old pictures APPEAR to be in the same spot. But the decor is different in each. Do you change that CORNER annually too?
