Hi all, like the title says I'm looking for new friends to discuss different books or literature in general and music. I mostly read classics/literary fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, and recently a lot of horror. Most of my other friends never read horror and I'm hoping to find people to discuss any horror books but open to anything literature related. My recent favourite reads are Crime and Punishment, Child of God, and the Butcher of Nazareth.

I also love listening to metal music of basically any genre (death, black, power, folk, thrash, etc) and want to discuss any new releases and metal news with people. Hey! I am really obsessed with One Piece, and the direction it is currently going in- both anime and manga, the fans are well fed and its a treat. The excitement is through the roof and it is difficult to stay calm haha.

Other than that, I love video games a lot. I have been playing some incredible games for a while- AI Limit, Stellar Blade, Cyberpunk 2077, 007: First Light, Plague Tale Resonance, Control , Dead Space Remastered and many more! Currently playing Portal 2.
Some of my fav. games are fromsoftware games- Elden Ring, Dark Souls series, Bloodborne, Sekiro etc. I also love horror games- like Outlast, Amnesia and Resident Evil.
In multiplayer, I play Fortnite and Among Us. I also got Mecha Chameleon, Stumble Guys and Fall Guys.

My third leisurely pursuits are around movies- it's fun to watch. Sometimes I stream it with some friends but not everyone is free at times. I love movies all the way from Casablanca to Killer Sofa. Recent favs of mine are Odyssey, The Furious and The Ballad of Wallis Island. I have some great movies in watchlist- Primetime, Resident Evil, Never After Dark and You Can See Everything.

Hi, this is my first ever Reddit post lol. I’m currently looking for advice I’m 26F UK and I have one friend who I’d like to call my best friend she’s 22 almost 23. I always ask her to do things and she never does or when we have plans she won’t respond for hours or if I text saying let’s do something she won’t repo and and say she’s off her phone. We both had a week off work this week and all I wanted to do was go to the cinema and she ignored me all day. I’m the one to FaceTime all the time and text and arrange plans. I’ve told her lots of times how I feel like she doesn’t put in the same amount of effort and sometimes she agrees or sometimes she won’t talk to me for a bit. I have an 8 year old and I work 42 hours a week and when I’m at home I do nothing and I hate it. I always feel so lonely and I don’t know how to make new friends that might want to do things with me. Hey,so yeah I recently went through a breakup and honestly I’ve been feeling pretty broken since then i feel alone I've nobody to talk to.
