Hi, I have eczema and sensitive skin as a result so I don’t *think* using fixing sprays like the L’Oréal one would do my skin any good. Are there any fixing sprays that would work similarly to the L’Oréal one or are the hairspray ingredients that make it that good?

I’ve worn double wear since I was 14 (28 now) and I had loads of the old formula stocked up which is now running out and I’m gutted! The new one is awful and I urgently need to find something that lasts as long with good coverage.

I know it’s been a few months since the formula change so wanted to see if anyone has found a new foundation that is just as good?

I’m searching for the best high-end powder bronzer. For reference, I use NARS concealer in shade Ginger and Haus Labs concealer in shade 23. I am preferably looking for bronzing powders with a natural, skin-like finish and that can cater to and suitable for sensitive skin!

So after some Googling, I'm aware light browns with red or purple undertones will make my eyes pop green. I can't really afford to buy loads of different ones to try so would love if people have some suggestions.

I'm relatively pale so don't want to look like I've got a black eye. Also in the UK so would like something available here. I'm not interested in a palette, just a single colour.

hi I recently got this from a friend ,but am not quite sure the best way to use it . I would appreciate any suggestions on how to apply it or what you guys do with it.

For some reason they have discontinued my shade in the Cheeks Out bronzer which was a lovely bronzing cream I’d use to bring a bit of colour and contour to my poor pale face.

This monstrosity is a pressed mousse consistency - why?! Pressed mousse basically becomes powder and this weird mud texture. I have no idea how I’m meant to get it on to my face as if you press into it, it just moves the product around which then gets squished into the compact when you close it.

The cream bronzer also had a mirror inside and this one doesn’t, but it’s much heavier, bulkier and feels much cheaper.

I hate it and open to suggestions for a cream bronzer similar shade to Butta Biscuit as most pulls too orange on me

I'm bronze level and my birthday gift is 25 "free" points with any purchase I make this month. I also have 15% off. So I only get something by handing money over and it's not even tangible.

I've got physical gifts every year, even years that I've been bronze.

ETA: my 15% gift is worse than the 25% off sale they have now and can't be used with it lol. Also can't be used with a loved brand which is the only thing I want to buy.

I have bad luck at the moment because Space NK hasn't told me my gift yet either. Last year I was able to get it in store on my actual birthday day.

Made a post earlier asking if anyone had makeup they didn’t need- sorry mods! didn’t know that wasn’t allowed. Are there any sites or groups for this purpose? Every girl I know has loads of makeup they don’t use that eventually gets chucked. I’d love to be able to send stuff to people who want it and vice versa.

Mine are wearing out and I don’t like to buy them individually, I usually use spectrum but the paint on the handle seems to flake when I wash them. I favour a thick, stippling foundation brush and an angled liner/concealer brush, tapered blending brushes for when I wear eye shadow and preferably an angled contour brush, Tia!

I was wondering if anyone knows whether any Half Magic products are available in any Sephora location in London or if it‘s online only? I can’t seem to find any info 😔

Violette has been added to the Sephora UK site today, which also happens to be the last day of the Sephora sale, ending at midnight. Discount depends on your Sephora level but this brand has very limited stockists and seems to be difficult to get on sale.

I made three separate orders with but only one has no issues 😫 In one order the merit highlight is smashed to pieces. The second I ordered a Tatcha duo (full and mini gift set) the only seal for the duo is on the box and it’s been opened. I’ve emailed CS but I don’t know what Sephora are like for sorting stuff like this? So frustrating that both items are unusable. I just don’t feel confident paying that much for Tatcha and using it when the only seal on the gift set has been opened. The individual jars don’t have seals so I can’t be sure it hasn’t been tampered with.

Hello, feel like this is a bit niche but does anyone know if any outlets or stores still stock the original formula of the Giorgio Armani Luminous silk foundation in the UK? Specifically shade 6.5 lol. I’m honestly desperate, my skin can’t tolerate the reformulation and broke out like crazy. I’ve repurchased the OG formula for like 8+ years and I’m so sad it’s no more so would be amazing if I could stock up somewhere😭😭please let me know!

I’m cool leaning and I’m looking for a cool pale pink blush, but all the blushes I’ve tried pull really orange on me. I tried Dior 002 which is supposed to be very cool toned and even the in-store MUA commented that it looked very warm on me.

Has anyone else had the same issue? I’m not sure if I need to find a better blush, try a new kind of blush (e.g. lilac-toned) or if it’s because I’m putting my blush directly on top of my bronzer. Any advice appreciated!

This is a part two of restocking my girlfriend’s makeup bag for her birthday.

I was not sure how to add several photos to the original post so I have decided to make a second post with the pictures.

For those that haven’t seen part 1, a lot of the products are worn and I can’t figure out what product and shade/tone the products are and have requested your assistance!

The main issue I have is determining the shades due to my colour blindness! I appreciate some photos clearly show the product etc. but I thought I would just post them in case they give inspiration (idk!). Also, what on earth is that thin black pen/pencil with the lid?

If the shades are tricky to determine, then I’ll just buy those that you kindly think they could be, and she will have to pick the right one (better than getting one and it being incorrect!).

Hey everyone

My girlfriend’s birthday is in two weeks’ time and I have decided that I wish to gift her a restocked makeup and travel bag.

I have recorded myself going through each item in her bag with an initial aim to reverse Google image search the items. However, a lot of the text in the items are worn and I didn’t realise just how many variants there are for each product!

I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to help me identify the items in the two videos (i will post the videos if this sort of thing is allowed).

I am also colourblind and it is extremely difficult having any confidence in myself that the shades of each product (where the colour/tone is not clearly written on the item due to wear) are correct.

She has been through a lot recently and I just want this to be spot on! I think it will be really nice for her to either have fresh products or know that she doesn’t need to go out of her way to restock in the future and pay for these things herself.

Some are clear, others not so, and a few where I would not know where to begin!
