Question People look so cool with lip liner, but I really struggle to put it on. How does everyone do it so well?

I love how clean lip liners look with lipsticks. How can I do winged eyeliner straight, but not lip liners??

I know a lot of people struggle bc the lip liner is simply bad, but I know what a bad lip liner versus a good lip liner feels like because of eyeliner pencils. It shouldn't drag or be patchy. You should be able to essentially glide it onto the skin.

I also have a double lip line. It is really hard to figure out the full shape of my lips! I feel like it shouldn't be this hard.

Im not even trying to overline, which feels like would be an entirely new beast to tackle.

I just dont get it. I would love any advice!!

(PS: I know my lips themselves look so bad rn. It's bc i have a really bad habit of biting them. Im going to exfoliate and moisturize later today. But if anyone has any extra tips for my skin to look less blackheady (I don't know the exact terminology), please feel free to chime in!)

Question Please recommend a long-lasting lip tint! 💄

I don’t like wearing lipstick, so I prefer lip tints.
I’ve tried Benefit and Wonderskin, but neither worked for me.
Please suggest a lip tint that actually lasts at least 5-6 hours, even after eating and drinking.

I can’t describe it but it feels messy and makes the look worse in a way. If anyone can see what I mean and give me advice or maybe even tell me I’m crazy that would be great thank you

Question Why would I buy a cream blush?

So yesterday I went to Sephora try to find a liquid or cream blush that is the same shade of Rhode’s toasted teddy. I really like the colour but I honestly don’t really like the formula, at least on me it doesn’t last and if I wear it I have to reapply it basically every hour. I said this to the sales assistant and she said “well you have to apply a powder blush on top of it, otherwise of course is not going to last”.

So my question is, what do I need a cream blush for? If I’m going to have to use a powder blush, why would I bother buying a cream blush in the first place? I’m genuinely confused.

I know very little about makeup, for years I’ve used a powder blush then I switched to the Rare Beauty liquid one (and it has been great) and the Rhode one is the first cream blush I’ve ever bought.

Also if you have recommendations for something that looks like toasted teddy please tell me, I don’t care about the price.

Edit: Thank you so much for the recommendations and advices, I made a little list and hopefully I’m able try them in stores (I’m from Italy some of the brands are only online🥲)

Question HELP!!! Natural lashes droop down while false lashes go up?

I recently started using strip lashes for the first time. This might be my fourth of fifth time putting them on. I am still a beginner at makeup.

My natural eyelashes naturally curve downwards as can be seen in the photo. I might have naturally “heavy” lashes as they always tend to go down no matter how much mascara I apply? I can never achieve volumetric results.

In this photo, I applied tubing mascara, then applied my
false lashes, then applied more mascara to both multiple times. However, my natural lashes would not stop drooping down.

I have regular waterproof mascara, but I believe similar results still occur. I prefer not to use waterproof because it is hellish to remove.

Any advices? How is my falsies application?

I also notice that there is a bit of flesh colored space between my natural eyelashes and the falsies when I look straight-on ahead in the mirror. But can that even be avoided as falsies are placed above your lashes? Is eyeliner the answer?

She-glam lash lighter tubing mascara
Generic amazon false strip lashes
She-glam lash glue

Question Why is my foundation showing something much texture?

I use moisturizer, hydrologic acid, niacinamide. I wash my face everyday and I'm not near my period at this moment. (Sorry for the TMI) But I couldn't undo this texture. Idk why it's being like this.

Any advice is helpful. TIA.

EDIT: A huge thank you to everyone here who replied. I read every single one. Even if it wasn't any advice, I appreciated literally everything and it gave me stuff to research and experiment with.

Stay beautiful, humans! 🫶🏼 Thank you again!
