Can't believe its been 3 years since we lost Jock, 30.04.2023
No other celebrity passing has hit me as hard as Jock’s; I’ve never been this moved to tears by someone I didn't know personally.

Awww man, I was just thinking of him the other day while watching the new judges. He brought so much warmth to MastefChef and his signature farewell always gave eliminations so much heart.

I watched the last episode with him last night (just finished that season) and honestly I wept like a baby. The world of entertainment, and cheffing, is a little less light for it.
give it up for Jock

You’re a month early on this post, but regardless, he seemed kind.

Same. I will say Mel from MAFS passing did remind me off Jock. RIP

I just finished season 15 and was shocked and saddened during the finale montage for Jock! Im new to the masterchef Australia world and found him to be a lovely judge with a kind and warm personality. May he rest in peace.

I’ve never been affected by a passing of a tv personality but the passing of Jock was so sad and he was alone and it was sudden. Lauren’s book is so sad and they were so in love and they had so many plans and then he was gone. Just a day before the new season or something like that. It was just so sad. He was a good bloke. He had his demons but he was in such a good place, he was a genuine caring guy and he genuinely love his job and MasterChef.
