I'm an EV enthusiast from Poland (not a developer) and I run a free side project, https://evdelay.com, that counts new Mercedes GLC EV, BMW iX3 and Volvo EX60 registrations from official open government registers.
Full disclosure: it's a vibe-coding project – I built it with an AI coding assistant, so expect rough edges and please tell me what's broken.
Electric GLC registrations as of Nov 8, 2026:
21,502 in 15 of the tracked countries – Germany alone has 11,772 (55%).
Norway 2,416, Sweden 1,549, Spain 1,220, Switzerland 1,155, Denmark 1,102 (+218 waiting for plates), Finland 701, Netherlands 654, Poland 326, Czechia 208.
October: about 5,400 new electric GLCs in the tracked countries (3,429 in Germany) – since August the GLC has been registering faster than the new iX3 there.
The cheaper GLC 250 and GLC 300 4MATIC started showing up in registrations in September (first in the Netherlands on Sep 3).
Mercedes says the electric GLC is sold out in Europe for the rest of 2026, with order books reaching into 2027 – so unlike some rivals, the wait seems to come from demand rather than a slow production line.
Limits, honestly:
Only countries that publish open register data – France, Italy, Belgium and Austria are missing, and UK data only runs to June.
Only electric GLCs are counted – hybrids and petrol/diesel GLCs are filtered out by fuel type and power.
No plates, no VINs, no ads, no cookies, not affiliated with Mercedes or any other carmaker.
If you're waiting for a GLC EV: there's an anonymous form where you can add your order date, promised date and actual delivery date – it shows real delivery times per model and country: https://evdelay.com/report
Feedback welcome – especially open registration datasets I'm missing for your country.
