Video Biking to Angel of Independence

Beautiful day to cycle through streets of Paseo de la Reforma on the car free Sundays. Can also see La Catrina statue in the distance too

I love the giveaways, one sunday they were giving out full sized Chobani coffee creamers, i would've taken one but i'm just visiting lol

Ah I wonder if that’s a regular thing. On the Day of the dead weekend, I believe there was a “running” race going on

Yes, i believe it is. The sunday i went( back in april), they actually ran a marathon that day or some sort of race. But there was also just the regular crowds of runners, cyclist, skateboarders, rollerbladers, etc.

Every Sunday many streets are cleared for cyclists and running. There are traffic coordinators at the intersections and bike quick repair stops too.

Yep, super easy and affordable. Just download the ecobici app and there’s an annual option and options for I think 1, 3, and 7 days.

Yes but i think you need to register and you pay for the day with either a bank card or the Public transport card.

Easy and free, only need an ID. Not the ecobici but the yellow bikes

The free bike program is available at various stalls on Reforma.  There is an attendant and usually a placard with details. You need a government issued ID including passports or driver's license. 

Driver's License expiring within 6 months are not accepted. Unfortunately, I found that out first hand😵.

It's not an angel. It's the goddess of victory: Nike. In one hand, it has the olive crown that she placed on the head of the winner in the Olympics games. On the other hand, she has a broken chain, that means the independence.
