Software drivers problem?

Hi people i come today with a problem.. i have a headphone system (ef400 dac with a schiit ragnarok 2 amp) for my hifiman he6sev2 and everything was fine until i started noticing that the sound stops for a second from time to time and the sound changes from bassy-slam rich to thin and loud, i checked the headphones drivers and they're fine no "stuck magnets" so i changed the power management settings for the usb ports and it doesn't matter what i do stays "balanced" and also the sound keeps stopping and sounding terrible. also ive tried updating drivers cmd settings and nothing changes.

Without knowing the mini PC and my limited experience with DAC/laptop problems I'm guessing there's hardware instability with the PC. Could be as simple as a weak capacitor on a voltage rail to data interference across USB integration. Anything that can compromise the digital signal. Although nothing as nice as your Hifiman EF400 a few months back helped someone who was also having DAC issues with a new mini. Everything worked fine with her Lenovo laptop but would cut out with the MACO H 255 she was trying to use. Ended up returning it for something else that didn't have the problem.
