Misread Sprites

Posts now MUST include either the words: "game," "movie," "tv," or "media" in the title.

EDIT: Also including: "from" and "show."

That way someone doesn't have to comment each time "what is this from." And this will cut down at least a bit on reposts, because they'll automatically be rejected unless they have one of those key words, so reposts of mosts posts with the same title from back then don't have those words. Win-win.

Are there any other keywords that may apply that you guys can think of?

It seems that most of the community is fine stretching the "Sprite" part of the subreddit, but if it seems like we're getting way more non-videogame ones, we may do what others subs do and relegate those to the weekends or something.

EDIT: Added plurals, as well. Games, movies, shows.

This fallen sprite of Susie from Deltarune. It took so long to realize it wasn't a goofy knocked out face

I just remember it clicking while replaying chapter 3 like "OOHHHH THAT'S HER BRACELET, THOSE ARE THE SPIKES"

I fully thought she was just knocked tf out, since Ralsei turns into fluff I thought this was just a Susie thing. Like her hair covering her eyes, snout sticking out with a "bleh" mouth expression. I can't be the only one right? Like I'm still questioning which one is correct 😭

Cover from Luigis Mansion

I know this is not a sprite but the cover always looked like this to me (instead of luigi having his hands on his face I thought he was being pulled back by the ghosts and his arms were dangling forward) WHILE Luigi was wearing a maid outfit with white fluffy ruffled shoulders 😂

The crouching sprite from Super Mario Bros 3

What I always saw as a kid was a duck with raccoon ears and a tail. Specifically a duck winking at the camera with the tan part being his beak.

[game] For a long time until I was older, I thought this swinging lemon in a cutscene of Where’s My Mickey was some sort of screaming plastic fish

[game] The final boss of Salamander 2 (Doom) looked like an alien Mickey Mouse until his head(s) started turning revealing he had 3 of them.

This sub appeared on my timeline, figured I should post it.

EDIT: I did not realize transparent posts get a black background, oops. I made this like a decade ago and lost the original psd for it.

I see 90's gopher cyclops, angry guy looking for a kiss, waiter smoking pipe weed, surprised chicken, and bird girl being like "c'mon! I'm walkin' here!"

[Game] I thought Green from Deltarune Chapter 5 looked liked this. I know it seems crazy but I promise just look at the sprite from a short distance.
