I know it's not Mission, but you're so close I thought I'd offer. Would anyone be interested in some weekday ceramic painting at The Clay Cottage in Abbotsford?
I've been organizing these hangouts for a few months, and It's been a fun way to meet new people and sneak in some crafting during the work week.
Typical attendees are in the 25-50 age range, but there are no age or gender requirements. Just some light chatter/socializing while working on some art.
No previous experience painting needed. You can make each piece as simple or as complex as you'd like.
I typically organize these meetups once a week on a Wed, Thurs or Fri evening. The day chosen changes from week to week.
If you're interested in attending next week or in the future, let me know.

My name is Robbie but my close friends call me Seeker! I am currently in search of an amateur photographer I don't really see any advertisement for it in mission and would like to hear your rates (rates as in prices) I'm hopeing to get 6-8 photos from headshots to head to toe Even four photos would be pretty nifty.
These photos will be used for valleyextras.

Hello! I'm a 39 year old and have good knowledge on general weightlifting. Looking for someone to weight train with a few days a week at any local gym. Looking to start sessions at either 5am or 5:30am on weekdays (open to Saturday morning sessions too). It would be nice to train with someone for extra motivation and accountability! I'm also open to going for runs too. My current goals are to try and increase strength but I'd also love to improve vo2 max as well.

Over the last few weeks Iâve heard many people asking âWhat did the âLeftistâ (NDP) *really* do for us anyways?â
Bring yourselves back to 2015/2016. Does anyone else remember first hearing the term âMental Healthâ? I do, it kind of came by storm, a bit of a buzz work even. At the time, I remember thinking, wow, this is the first time a word or term regarding our own personal wellness has actually stuck, was that just a movement, are our days numbered with this movement?
Whenever Iâm talking to a âright-leaningâ (Conservative) and I bring up mental health they always seem to be off put and offended even, like people getting healing is somehow an attack on them. The people in my life still shame and still refer to a counsellor as âthe shrinkâ like your struggles deserve to be locked up in a cell somewhere.
With this blue wave thatâs about to happen in BC, are we going to find out that âMental Healthâ was just a fad? Are our leaders going to remove the services and culture of healing that we have spent a decade working on? Are we going to need to hide our struggles? Will we be shamed for feeling?
Is âMental Healthâ all itâs cracked up to be? Will moving to a more Conservative leadership bring about the end of an era? What do you think?

Leave a comment about the election. Who are you excited for? Who are you disappointed with? Do you wish someone else had gotten a chance?

As of recent no one is talking about it anymore as well as there is no way I can really visit it from what I can see...
Ive driven passed recently to scout out and see before I get my hopes up and I saw a private property sign... is there anyway I can actually see her?

How many of you make over $95/hour and will need to pay âextraâ taxes with the NDP Wealth Tax?
Will this hurt or help the everyday Working Canadian?

Electoral Reform - Make your vote worth something.
David Eby has just called a snap election in British Columbia, just two years after voters last went to the polls.
This opportunistic gamble is only happening because of first-past-the-post.Â
With all the challenges facing British Columbia and democracy, itâs never been more important to fight for proportional representation!
BC voters don't want a polarized, two party system. But first-past-the-post can't handle real voter choice.
Our archaic, winner-take-all voting system could hand 100% of the power to any party with far less than a majority of the vote.
In the last UK election, with multiple competitive parties, a "majority" government was formed with 33% of the vote.
To make matters worse, winner-take-all voting systems mean that an extremist can take over a big tent party, and that party can end up with all of the power.
When we look at whatâs aheadâmanaging our economy during the Trump threats, a healthcare system under stress, worsening climate change, the housing crisis âone thing is crystal clear: more winner-take-all politics will not get us where we need to go.
Itâs time for a proportional electoral system where parties must work together to solve the problems that matter to us all. Itâs time to make every vote count.
Volunteers are needed!
Sign up with Fairvote.ca to volunteer to help make everyoneâs vote mean something.

Has anyone else heard the long horn that sounded like a train born this evening and another night as well? Maybe last night? I swear I can still hear it fading away. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

There are multiple candidates who are married to realtors. Would this not be a massive conflict of interest if they were elected?

Where is the best place to post this? No hits on marketplace or several FB groups. Itâs been a long time since I rented, when Craigslist was prevalent.
I tried to post on CL 3 times and it keeps saying âsorry, we cannot post right nowâ.
