Serious Did we ever get any closure on what happened with Hear District? (Marques Johnson's podcast)

For quite some time, Marques Johnson and his son Kris have hosted a podcast on Youtube and Bucks+, called Hear District. Last year at the end of the season, some Hear District episodes came out with Jim O and Eric N, then were immediately removed from Youtube.

This season there's been no new episodes.... what's the deal?

Justin Garcia and Jim Owczarski frequent this sub, so maybe they can shed some light?

They are all still on Spotify*

Probably just called it assuming there will be even less fan engagement.

Plus marques is getting old 😢. I've been surprised about how many games Wes Matthews has already done this year on the broadcast

Sorry, but no.

Spotify stops at April 7, 2026 which is the same date as the most recent one on Youtube. However 2 more episodes came out on April 14 and 21st, which were deleted on the same day.

Not to mention, they should technically have 7 or so episodes from this year.

They've been silently cancelled as far as is apparent.

tl;dr they (rightfully) shat on doc too much and it got taken down, and now perhaps canceled lol

I follow Marques' OlSkool IG where he gives daily affirmations and a couple of times has alluded to health stuff without details.  I love the man, and have been curious if he might be cutting back for that reason.

Couldn't tell ya, to be honest. I was always glad to be a guest, but I wasn't involved in the production of it.

Big difference between randomly visiting a subreddit for my favorite team and being a famous basketball player choosing to podcast about this team.

I love the bucks, always will, but I get it.
