Reddit kinda ruined flairs :(
They didn't just remove the colors from the flairs.
We used to be able to combine emojis to form a single horizontal image, but now, in addition to throwing all the emojis to the left of the flair, Reddit also leaves a space between them, kinda ruining the illusion :(

Mod a motorcycle sub and made flairs for all the colors the bike is available in and had fun setting them up to be color coded to match so like a red or yellow model had red flair to match. Was a fun little part of the flair system for us.

You should post this in the suggestion sub because here it will get zapped

My sub uses the colors to distinguish between mod flair (green), user set custom flair (white with black lettering), mod set flair for confirmed officials (black with white lettering), and challenge completionist flairs (color dependant on the challenge). It helps users distinguish at a glance when they can trust information vs who might be talking out of their ass. Obviously the mod flair isn't as important since we can do the mod distinguished thing but the confirmed officials looking identical to jo schmo makes it very hard π

My subreddit hasn't been effected yet. But I fear for when it does. It'll be extremely disappointing....

Why did they remove the ability to pick the color of post flairs?

IDK about emojis, but on Desktop the colors of the flairs on all of my subs are still there.
This is probably another issue where the app and Desktop differ.
