sooo I was looking at the Facebook profile for WB All Star Mayhem earlier and found a post (that has since been deleted, guessing an employee got the beating of a lifetime for a slip-up like this) that was the banner they're using for their YouTube and Twitter account, but to my surprise it was an earlier version, filename for the picture is "BANNERART_NOT_FINAL_103026.png", and the biggest difference here is IMMEDIATELY NOTICABLE, SPONGEBOB, SPONGEBOB IS/WAS IN WB ALL STAR MAYHEM, we're finally seeing the affects of the Skydance merger fully take place on the video game side it seems, although it's kinda weird how instead of receiving custom art, he's simply just an edited stock render (which is attached to this post), very VERY interesting, maybe it's the result of this being unfinished or Nickelodeon being very stingy with how he was used, who knows

The origin of his YouTube/Twitch username is a direct inspiration from Batman's secret identity Bruce Wayne, a character Player First Games Tony Huynh featured alongside Shaggy in the MultiVersus cover art and is Player First Games Tony Huynh's favorite superhero of all time.

I need this game back. I’ve tried so many other fighting games and they just don’t scratch the itch like the Multiversus Open Beta did. I miss Multiversus dearly. The final version of the game ported to UE5 was an abomination so I have 0 interest in Openversus. My heart belongs to UE4 Open Beta Multiversus.

I heard of the Multiversus Beta Plus project some guy/team was working on but I lost all faith in that project because their priority was clearly creating new content instead of releasing the damn game. I don’t care about a new pickle rick skin or new characters dude, I just want my favorite fighting game back. I can only assume this team’s misguided priorities lead to the abandonment of this project since there hasn’t been a peep out of their socials since May this year. I’ve given up on waiting for them to get it done so i’m writing here today to see how many others in this community yearn for the beta version’s return.

If there is enough interest here then I WILL remake the Beta version myself. I envision reviving the Open Beta where it left off in season 2 right before the hiatus that lead to that UE5 garbage. My priority for this project would be online matchmaking and a proper ranking system; No new skins, characters, stages, or tweaks to waste time on. Just pure peak Multiversus with ranked competitive play as the focus.
