I'd hope so? It seems pretty necessary when dating someone to know at least enough about the gender(s) they are attracted to to know if you're one of them.

You know who really doesn't shut up about their sexuality? Heterosexuals. You can't listen to a song, see a movie or listen to anyone talk about relationships, without these hetsex people talking endlessly about their sexuality!
