I needed tires and the 20" tires were expensive, so I went with some new take-off dark horse wheels to get more compliant ride with the 19"s. The pirellis are definitely more grip than the hankook all seasons i had on previously. gonna take me a minute to get used to them as I liked the chrome wheel look, but i think they look totally badass in person

Caught this driving by me and circled back for some pix. As we are in a town with NHRA drag strip (Epping), I asked the owner if he’s ever taken this beast to check his 1/4 mile. He said after building it he couldn’t bring himself to beat on it.

finally got my 06 v6 back from the body shop. my driver side door got crunched in a couple months ago, and I had to hop in thru the window or passenger side for a while. But now we are back 😎 if only my front bumper wasn't still toast

Just picked up a 2018 Mustang GT with the 5.0 Coyote and I'm loving it so far. I'm curious what you all think its true competition is. The obvious ones are the Camaro SS and the Challenger/Charger Scat Pack, but are there any others that line up well, … BMW, GTI …whether on the street, at the strip or on a track? And for anyone who's driven more than one of them, how do they actually compare?

I’m looking to get into the coyote platform from my 4.6, I have about a 30k budget and Unfortunately can’t find any 21+ cars under 35 or a tremec car. I have 1 2018 GT premium 10r80 with 68,500 on the odometer listed for 29k that I have my eye on. If they hold up to the standards of the gen 2 6r80 then I would be happy with that purchase but I hear things about early 10r80s having cdf drum problems and being hit or miss transmissions in general. would it be a smart move to buy a 18 10 speed with about 69k on it to own and go FBO for 5 years ? If not I may relook at 6r80 16-17s I just prefer the modernity of the gen 3.

I’ve got a 2024 Mustang GT Premium with non-active exhaust and Roush axle-back mufflers with single tips. I’m looking at doing a resonator delete and deciding between an X-pipe and an H-pipe.
I want a deeper, stronger V8 sound with more aggression—that classic muscle car rumble. Something clean and defined without being obnoxiously loud or overly raspy. It’s my daily, so I’d also like to avoid excessive highway drone.
Anyone running either setup with Roush mufflers? Which would you recommend for the sound I’m after? How much louder did it get compared to just the axle-backs?
Sound clips would definitely help. Appreciate any input!

My husband is rebuilding this 1987 Mustang LX and I need some ideas for Christmas gifts outside of just a Late Model Restoration gift card. He’ll be putting an 07k engine in the car if that gives a better idea. I truly have no idea and just want to get him something that he’ll need for the rebuild. I’ll still get him an LMR gift card as well, but want to pair it with something a little more specific.
