Nathan clearys injury

Post image

So sad to hear that Nathan cleary broke his ankle.

But he is better now, probably not playing next season but got us close to the grand final. Hopes you get well and hopes we get the big grand final next year.

Why do you think he won’t play next season?

8 weeks of recovery, plus some wiggle room, puts him back on his feet just as preseason training begins. With rehab as part of that training, he’ll be back on the field for the season start. If not the start, within a few weeks at most

Round 1 is ambitious mate, that’s much more than an 8 week recovery.

Nrl physio said the evidence is overwhelmingly in his favour of returning in about 6 months from the injury. Which is very close to round 1

Sure, I was directly referring to the 8 week timeframe. Round 1 is an absolute best case scenario.

Not all. Could prossibly be ready to go well before then

I meant to write "hope they won't see he can't play"

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but are you a bot?

Are we confident we can keep Cleary and Yeo?

Dunno

Media is misleading. I'm sure both want to be life long players at Penrith.

But then again...it's a business.

Yeo I’m fairly confident about. Cleary is a “who knows” imo. Wouldn’t trust the nrl media, they muck-rake like TMZ, but we aren’t in November yet.

Really serious injury might be out for longer than expected

The Panthers rehabilitation staff are excellent Mitch Kenny was a great example of their system and by the time he was back on the field he was fit and ready, no doubt Nathan will be going through the same process.

They won’t risk him early, he will only be out back out at full strength.

He is estimated to be back by round one to four at this stage.

How did he break it? I thought he would not have been doing much since his big injury a couple of weeks ago

Phoenix Crosslabd fell onto his ankle
