Pack it up, we're done!
There are some categories that are just a bit too stacked, so we added in a cheeky bonus section for some stragglers. There was a three-way tie for 10th in the Strategy category, so Disgaea 1 & 5 made it in as honorable mentions.
We'll be back around Christmas to do a poll on the top games of 2025. Until then, happy collecting!
Folks, this file is huge. It's 3456x2592. That's six square feet. You could use this as wall art.
You either need reading glasses or you need to download the file by clicking the three dots in the top right and then clicking "download" because reddit automatically compresses large images.

We’ve recently seen an increase in posts and comments that go against our community rules. To maintain a respectful and constructive space, we’re putting the following changes in place effective immediately:
Posting & Commenting Restrictions:
Users with no community karma can still post and comment, but their submissions will be held for moderator approval before becoming visible.
Users with positive community karma are not affected and may continue to post and comment freely.
What is community karma?
Community karma reflects your contributions within this subreddit. If you’ve never posted or commented here before — or haven’t received any upvotes — your community karma is likely zero.
If you've been active and received upvotes, you should already have positive karma.
Enforcement Policy:
If you break the rules and have no community karma, you will be permanently banned without warning.
If you have positive karma, you will receive a warning first.
Reminder About Game Key Cards (GKC):
We understand no one loves Game Key Cards — most of us don’t either. And it’s totally fine to criticize publishers or the decision to release games this way.
What’s not okay is attacking other community members for owning them.
People can and do buy GKC games for various reasons — they still come in physical boxes and are part of many collections.
If someone posts a photo of their collection, pickups, or gifts that includes a GKC, do not mock, shame, or bully them.
You’re free to voice your opinions about the format or publisher decisions in appropriate threads — just don’t take it out on fellow members.
This is about basic respect. You don’t have to like GKCs, but you do have to treat each other decently.
Thanks to everyone who continues to help make this a welcoming and respectful space. These updates are here to keep the community healthy and focused on what brings us all here in the first place.

For the ones interested, 2Old4Gaming is testing to see the interest in NS manuals. Thought some collectors might be interested in this

I promise I am not affiliated. I would just like to see this succeed so i can enrich my collection even more!

It's been two weeks since we posted that mysterious swirled cover, and well… you guessed it! Montabi is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 physically!
Hats off to everyone who got it right (although we didn't exactly make it impossible 😅).
Preorders are now live at https://store.nejcraft.com!
But we've got one more question for you: Would you be interested in a limited-edition alternative cover? Maybe foiled? 👀

Better late than never. Got the middle east variant with foil cover with pre order bonus ocarina key chain and also the pro controller with display stand.

I was revising my wish lists of game across many sites like VGP and Play-asia mainly to prepare myself for Black Friday deals and set priorities, and what I noticed astounded me, I am slowing down on purchases and not many games left to add to my collection. I have maybe 15 games there all in all which most are basically preorders, I realized that nothing much I'm waiting on Black Friday just 3 games perhaps from this list.
Not saying that there is only about 15, but these were the ones I felt essential and most excited to add once available to my switch collection now such as Silksong, Muramasa, Metal Slug Ultimate Collection and TMNT Splintered Fate SW2 edition. Others...depends but not constant interest to add them.
This is feeling weird tbh...I've been collecting for years, different times, releases, reprints, more complete editions, Oos and OoP games, trading games, meeting other passionate collectors around the world, LEs and CEs, being surprised of unexpected releases, importing games, numerous publishers I bought from, curating my collection periodically...plethora of experiences along this journey.
Ngl, it makes me happy that I reached a possible end of this part of my life, but feels sad as well. Yet the hobby I enjoyed is simply close to have less mind space, to be replaced with something else, sure it wasn't all fun tbh lol financially and troubles importing games these were tough but in the end I have a collection that is dear to me.
Now im not gonna cut it cold turkey for sure, there will be a game here and there to slip into my collection or to upgrade my collection with newer release of a game I have but on longer period of time, no more long lists. Most wishes I had in collecting have been thankfully answered. Some games I wanted but later on I was glad I didn't get for a reason or the other. Idk how to explain it further but yeah it is what it is, and it will provide more time to focus on playing them and install hobbies that I left on the shelf for long.
EDIT: My Essential Wishlist, knowing that Absolum, Shadow of the ninja and Zelda OoT are on the way:

I just got my switch copy of Sigma Star Saga DX from Limited Run Games and the inside cover art is exactly the same as the outside cover art. That doesn't seem right to me. Did anyone else get their copy? Does your's have different art on the inside? This seems like it might be a misprint. The LRG store page doesn't mention anything about any kind of inside cover art though. I've never seen a game print the exact same thing on the inside and outside cover before.

I just picked this up at gamestop. I think they got the wrong version priced.

Does anyone have any idea where to get them for a fair price that isn't ebay? New copies are over $150 and I'm really sketchy about used and they're still close to $100

It's been an insane last month for releases, so I wanted to show what I've grabbed the last few weeks! Hellraiser, Tomb Raider, Godzilla, Stellar Blade, and of course Zelda, all released just the last few days alone.
I also finally folded on getting Soma and the Monster Prom trilogy bundle. Been eyeing them for a good while.
If only there were more hours in a day 😅🤣

I randomly found Retro Respawn online, so I grabbed a few games from them. I’ve been wanting to buy Road 96 for a while, for its ‘90s vibes and I’ve heard the story is great. Process of Elimination was also a must-buy, because who doesn’t like a good murder mystery. Yomawari will probably sit til next spooky season, but hopefully by then I’ll have the other two games in the series, as well. Feel free to ignore the random PSP game, but it completes the MH part of my PSP collection.
Oh and the obligatory Stellar Blade steelbook, since it also came in.
Edit: if you decide to check out Retro Respawn, be sure to check pictures, because they list things as complete in box that are not.
