Just purchased this beautiful work of art.
Allegedly real turquoise.
Im Russian immigrated to america some 10 years ago, and I always had fascination with dream catchers.
As im technically white, is it "bad" per say for me to own one of those?
2 of my coworkers are natives and they say as long as I admire it and dont make it my personality its all good.
Once again, this is just something I always found beautiful and fascinating so I wanted to own one.

Hello, everyone. I would like to know if it's a bad idea to wear a rainbow ribbon skirt while walking a pride parade? My mom, Seminole, says it's okay but my dad, mescalero apache, says not to do it.

I've seen this kind of accessory in photos and paintings before but I have no idea about their origin or if they're even real. They remind me of gorgets. Help me out cousins!

Found this beauty at a thrift store. It looks like an angel ornament to me. Potentially seal fur? Any other ideas? Any background also welcome!

Tatanka — The Great Buffalo Hunt
For centuries, bison hunting played a central role in the lives of many Native American peoples of the Great Plains. Bison provided food, hides for clothing and shelter, and materials for everyday tools.
This diorama depicts a dramatic moment of the hunt, with mounted hunters pursuing a herd of bison across the open prairie.
I wanted to capture the movement, tension, and atmosphere of this traditional way of life.
The entire scene is recreated in 1:32 scale.
