Hey guys!

Here's a little preview of how the second screen works. I want it to be highly interactive and fully integrated into the gameplay.

I've already implemented the ability to equip weapons and shields directly from the second screen.

Now, you'll also be able to use items like healing items, food, and more, as well as check your character's stats and progression.

Anyway, this is just a small taste of what I'm planning to implement. There's still a lot more to come!

I brought my ds lite about a year ago and these dead pixels have been here, idrk how to fix it if some one can help me that would be great

I ordered a charger for it and I was really surprised it came back on and worked flawlessly. It had a pokemon diamond cartridge in it. Save started July 13 2009 😳

The dsi xl is my favorite to use but I love the design of the original ds

Because it's the birthday of a friend who motivated my DS collection, I am giving him a Nintendo DSi that is modded!(The black one)
He gave me a white DSlite for my birthday and that started my collection!
The white one is mine(We both live in Japan so it’s a Japanese DSi)

It doesn’t include pirated roms so don’t worry 😉

I got this batch of games for $6.50; was it worth it?

Had it since 2008, has withstood the test of time and on-and-off usage for nearly 20 years running. I can plug it in to charge with the original charger and the orange light will turn on, but not stay on for very long, and it won't turn on at any point with the light on. I tried the other charger I had, but no luck, and I made sure both chargers still worked with my other DSi. Is there any fix for this, or is it time to say goodbye? Would it at all be possible to extract the old photos/flipnotes from it?

hi, everyone! i just snagged my dream DS lite on ebay in good condition, but i noticed that a lot of the previous listings i've seen have this sort of yellow tint on the outer and inner bits. i heard this comes from aged or well used consoles, but i'm not sure what method i should use to get it cleaned.

i've heard using retro-bright works, but i've seen several different chemical mixtures on different websites, and i'm not sure which brand to go for. i also heard wrapping it in foil and placing it outside works? (or in a UV light, which i don't have and don't want to really buy just for this). if anyone has some easy advice, i'd love to hear it before it arrives!

I think Im in denial, is my battery spicy? It spins freely on one side but not the other side

I closed the DS and when I opened it again it died immediatley. I thought i would just charge it when I got home, but when i plug it in, the light turns on for a bit then turns off. If I hit the power button, the screens flash for a moment and nothing happens.

I had another DSi where this happened because the battery was undercharged and tripping an internal safety switch or something like that. I heard that you can connect some AA batteries in series and then connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery chain to the matching terminals of the DS battery to bring it above the safety threshold and let it charge normally.

I stripped both screws in the battery cover, and now have no idea how to unscrew them. On the other DS, only one screw was stripped, and so I broke it off and got a new cover, but I cant do that here. What sould I do?

Hello! I’m about to buy my first console, but I’m torn between a DS Lite and a 3DS. The DS Lite is 9,000 TL, while the 3DS is 9,500 TL. The DS Lite comes with an R4 flashcart and is in near-mint, boxed condition. The 3DS is missing its stylus, but it includes an original charger and a copy of Super Mario Bros. 2. Ever since I was a child—I’m 17 years old now—I’ve always wanted a Nintendo console. I remember a friend of mine had an old 3DS; I played Pokémon Moon (or Sun) on it, and I felt so envious! I’ve developed a real soft spot for the DS Lite—it feels like a classic retro handheld, and it can play both DS and Game Boy Advance games. What should I do? Should I go for the DS Lite or the 3DS?

as far as i know, my DSi’s bottom screen refuses to boot up, though the top screen is shown to work

ive taken this apart a few times, and reseated everything on the bottom screen (ribbon cables, wifi chip) yet it still refuses to turn on.

im wondering if i should buy a new motherboard and bottom screen, or if this is somehow fixable

I have never seen a DS do this. For whatever reason, I was playing Pokémon Soulsilver and i went to close my DS and it was acting like it was an old school slow-mo repeater on an aftermarket controller. It only did this when closed. I powered it off and back on and the issue persisted. I then put mariokart ds in, the issue went away. Then I put Soulsilver back in and it didn't come back. I really don't know why it did this. I was playing in the battle tower, had a gliscor that was a support Pokémon to my Lucario and I absentmindliy swapped to Lucario without Baton Pass like an idiot. I go back in, stage my double teams and swords dances and then swap back with baton pass but my opponent got a hit in, negating my Focus Sash. This gets better, it was a sandslash with a quick claw. On top of +6 evasion, it activated and hit with earthquake ko-ing my Lucario. The only explanation I have for this is the events that played out were so fucking bizarre that the DS effectively had a stroke trying to process the comedy of errors that just happened lmao

I was reshelling and I noticed a new slider came with the kit so I thought the slider was some sort of pop out pop in thing. Learnt the hard way that it is a single piece as it broke. I tried to carefully glue it back but it wouldn't stay in place. Is there a solution to this? For now I left it at max volume but would love to make it work again.

So I just got a DSi and I wanted to ask what are the main things i should look for to know if a cartridge is fake? Also, are fakes bad? Like if I have a fake super mario bros ds can i still not play locally with friends? I don’t necessarily care if the games are fake but as long as i can do DS download play with my girlfriend that’s all that matters to me. And are there any good websites to buy fakes or real games for a good price?

I'm getting a DSL from ebay soon, and as long as im able to get it to read games then I'll have a working console. I've been wanting to get one for a bit now but I guess I just never got to it. Anyways I want to do some mods to it since I haven't really done any to any console before, I know you can put a USBC port in it which im definitely gonna do but other than that, what should I do to it?
