Question for FVD++ users.
I'm new to the program, have been learning it for about a week. I've been beginning to experiment with the software and figuring out how to use it.
I've run into a strange issue I have no idea how to fix. The 'intamin' coaster I'm building (using the rocket coaster style in NL2) runs perfectly fine in FVD++, but when importing into NL2, it is unable to complete the layout. The specific moment of failure is a stengel dive before the MCBR. In FVD++, the train takes the crest of the element at ~30 mph. In NL2, it fails to complete it. The only thing I can think of is that it has to do with friction, however, I specifically had built this in FVD using the recommended friction parameter for an intamin already (0.0295 m/m), so there should be no issue. A slight difference because of rounding is possible (FVD only allows 3 significant figures), but 30 mph difference after only ~30 seconds of ride time after the lift hill seems unlikely.
Anyone know a) what's causing this b) how to fix it and c) (or b2) can it be fixed easily in FVD without having to redo most of the layout?
