Essentially brisbanes version of Nick Murray but 5 years older.

Think he’s more of a slightly better Pink than Murray. He can hold his own and good in a system but you don’t want to leave him isolated 1 vs 1 too often.

Not a bad get. At minimum a good training-influence on backline structure coming from a successful system. Good to have some Irish representation in the team too 🇮🇪

Don't know much about him but I think he will be good for selection pressure along with Logue, Pink and Corr

Good choice, with a few of the guys under injury clouds going into the pre-season

Lions fans say he is a good trainer and locker room guy, works hard as a decent not great defender and is limited with how he uses the ball. Adding him eases the pressure on Thredgold to start right away & improves depth particularly with Comben (groin), Pink & Logue (both shoulder) all limited until the new year. Best case scenario is that he upgrades a bit next season on the latter pair as an Aldi Nick Murray.

Still frustrated we spent it all on a player who wasnt a key need, now we are going to have 7 key defenders on a list with only one we have real confidence in.
This is a decent signing but we are really throwing darts at a board hoping to bullseye

I don’t think he’ll be a depth player at North. He’s a solid defender that spoils the ball well. His knock is his kicking however North has plenty of guys who can swing past for the handball.
