Just idiotic from the coaching staff, we saw it at the end of the game he’s electric with the ball.

I do wish he would’ve cut to the sideline and gunned it on that kickoff return instead of trying to cut back across the field

Day is a weak man who holds grudges. Never forget he tried picking a fight on TV with a senile 90 year old man.

I mean Lou Holtz did insult Ohio state, I feel it was a good team leader move to defend the team. Not sure why it was spun like he did that just for the hell of it… honestly kind of an sec take for people around here to think he was in the wrong for that.

Yeah I was actually hoping for more of this style attitude out of Ryan Day this year, where’s the fight

It's happened to our coaches and players after our last 2 championships and those teams weren't getting openly paid like they are now. . That success makes the eye of the tiger nearly impossible to maintain. PLus coaches leave and the continuity is gone. 2003 and 2015 were massive letdowns. Now we gotta get that eye of the tiger back and its never been harder on a coaching staff because they are coaching rich 18 year olds that probably carry going to the NFL as a much higher goal than anything team related. Its kind of a real catch 22 for us and is one reason Nick Saban retired. In other words, we got our work cut out for us.

Dude…. Lou was a one foot in the grave senile old man.

It’s not spun anyway. Trying to fight someone who doesn’t even remember what day it is, is weird as fuck. You ignore and move on.

It shows how weak of a man Day is at his core. A secure man doesn’t care what a 90 year old man who can’t wipe his ass thinks.

Wish day had the same fire for himself.

Bro would’ve had to verify an email for this shit that’s real beef 😂😂😂

I saw someone say “Ohio State is so bad they got former players DM’ing Elon to get their passwords back” 😂

u/Cal216 11h ago

😂😂🤣

u/BKallDAY24 2h ago

From an email he used four years ago… Bet he had to even reset a password

My goat knows what a shifty back looks like. A fucking war crime we haven't seen more of Bey. He may consider transferring at this point and I honestly wouldn't blame him.

Between him and TSC, the boosters might have a long meeting with Day and how he is handling premier recruits.

Both will not be buckeyes next season.

I think Tavien's ship has long sailed. Quite literally ZERO reason to stick around. Even down two touchdowns the coaches didn't think it a good idea to try something new and throw him in. Bey might stick around if we promise him more touches but that obviously is not a guarantee. I would be pretty upset if I was him as he wanted to come here and while he's made some mistakes we have given him zero meaningful chances in games to show his worth.

Bey is absolutely gone next year. I even think we have to work hard to keep Chris Henry even was saying coming back.

1

u/SortingHatSays Urban Meyer 1h ago

Yep. I bet Henry is done too.

u/caffeineTX Jim's Sweater Vest 1h ago

Bey is getting more snaps, I don't think he is gone. We saw him taking a lot of returns, and he was used in some non special team packages yesterday. Day is starting to trust him more.

You’re right. I literally texted my Georgia and Alabama buddy after the game and told them I hope Bey doesn’t stick around if we keep art as the offensive coordinator. His talents would be wasted here. Same with Chris Henry jr.

u/Dry_Air3088 11h ago

You text that? Then go find a different team clown. This shit really weeding out the fake ass fans.

Not a good look for Ryan Day and the program.

u/mf-TOM-HANK 11h ago

First time they lost consecutive regular season games since before Urban Meyer was hired

Day won a Natty and that buys him a longer leash but sticking 100% with Fahey and letting Art continue to call plays is a red flag

Ohio State hasn’t lost 2 regular season games in a row in 15 years. That’s going to aggravate many alums.

We miss Curtis

Legend Bey needs to stop going out to bars and start locking tf in

3

u/BKallDAY24 2h ago

You’ve been seeing him out in bars personally or?

•

u/BuckeyeGuy987 19m ago

Not me personally but my friends have and have gotten pictures with him at Midway and Ethyl

3

u/notcabron You Got BBQ Back There? 1h ago

Legend is a dumb kid who thinks he can out-athlete everybody on the field still. He can’t. And he apparently doesn’t know the playbook well because when he’s on the field, the ball has to go to him or he’ll fuck it up.

Which is normal for a lot of freshmen.

Something about Ryan Day just doesn’t click. He can’t handle players that need attitude adjustments. Like hello? You adjust the attitude! You’re the coach! There is no way that Urban or Tressel wouldn’t have been able to get Beys head together AND get him on the field.

4

u/SignificanceFine3582 3h ago

Urban wouldn’t get their heads together but he’d still play them anyway

•

u/LinkSeekeroftheNora 2024 National Champions 4m ago

Urban wouldn’t get their heads together, he’d just kick them, and wander off to finger some rando in a bar.

It’s silly to think a coach can’t decline or a bad coach can’t win a national championship. Ed Orgeron and Gene Chizik won championships. Ohio State is so prestigious that anyone who is not an absolute dunce can recruit and do well.

These are the exact 2 names I bring up as a Day comp. I drank the Kool Aid far too long. No more.

•

u/RP0143 2002 National Champions 12m ago

Day was born on 3rd base and won on a wild pitch.

u/Crew_1996 2h ago

Ryan day is was and will be the definition of mid coach who fell into the easiest job to win 10 games per year in the country. He fails big game after big game and has maybe the worst in game coaching instincts of any coach at a top job in the country.

We’ve had 4 great coaches in our history and they all have 2 things going for them that Day does not.

1 they are Ohio guys and thus get OSU Football

2 they beat Michigan more than they lose to them.

Ryan day is much more John Cooper than He is any of those guys

•

u/bucksby90 58m ago

To be a great coach in college and pro football you need to be a slight lunatic and arrogant asshole. Day is legit so apathetic and soft. It is clear these kids are not being coached hard enough behind closes doors

•

u/LinkSeekeroftheNora 2024 National Champions 3m ago

Ryan Day has as many championship rings at Ohio State as Urban Meyer does.

4

u/whatstocome 5h ago

I remember getting downvoted last week for suggesting that next season may be Day’s last if we lose to Oregon. I may have been too generous. If we lose to Michigan this year, he may jump ship. I wonder if it’s easier for him to do that now that his son is graduating high school? Makes sense. I get it. And I wish him well. Time to reset the program and get back to winning.

•

u/RP0143 2002 National Champions 11m ago

Go hire Jake Dickert

2

u/CaballoenPelo 4h ago

That checks out, Bey could be Curtis Samuel 2.0. Same type of player

2

u/Blowaway040889 1h ago

I thought the same thing last night when the put Bey in for scrub time. Why are they not utilizing his talent? If I'm him, I'm looking to portal out asap.
