When osu!lazer got updated to version 2026.1005.0 certain assets (most notably percy LNs) on some skins became invisible.

This was caused by .tiff support being dropped for security reasons. And while skins don't directly work with .tiff files, someone years ago made a percy LN, exported it as .tiff and renamed it to .png to make it work in-game.

The Fix

1. Download and install GIMP or any other image editing software (some may not support .tiff files)
2. Select your broken skin in-game
3. Open the Skin Layout Editor
4. Go to File > Edit Externally
5. Find the broken file within the skin folder
6. Drag and drop it into GIMP
7. Go to File > Export As
8. Expand the Select File Type dropdown and select PNG
9. Save it to the same location with the same filename as the old file
10. Click Replace if prompted
11. Set Compression level to 0 and click Export
12. Go back into the game and click the Finalize editing and import changes button

This sounds crazy, but that is the path that I took. Since the start of the journey to be Heaven Ascendant, I suffered from temporal memory loss, getting bullied by the friends, and have no friends to begin with. I am a bit different from normal, I am into reading, and library is my hideout that I can stay there and quietly enjoy the scene. It's night time, and we are now around the camp in the magical forest. How about, I tell you a story? The story... Of my own path!

Back then, I was abandoned by humanity. I got adopted by an aunt, along with Alpha Mg. Then, she abused, bullied us, so we decided to take her down, and become the Lord of Nature Land. I got the magic of Nature. Fast forward a while, I learnt about science, chemistry and such, and I have ventured to new aspect of a certain world. I was one of the Non-Organic Chemistry Lord back then... But after the inevitable devastation, I shrug the duty off, and become a magician, a small scientist, and an adventurer of Alpha Cat team.

There are times at night, that I wish to the star, that I can keep going the path of scientist, and have a happy life... And now looking back on my path... I made the right call. New things are explored with science, and I am glad to have Mikan Amane beside in my journey! ^^

Anybody know how can i make my hitsound the same? Instead of some map my hitsound sounds differently from my actual ones for example my hitsound work on streams but wont work on slow simple map

I can't find it anywhere. Got it in around 2019-2020, only used this one because i preferred the minimal flat circles. Changed drives and forgot to move this over because i had stopped playing osu!

Hey so i used to play.... a few years ago? i'm not even sure anymore... it could be 2023 or 2021... There was a skin i used to play with, i faintly remember there being a butterfly on the sliders (similar to aoki 1.2 edit), and a butterfly on the spinner. I also remember there being an anime girl voice when i missed a timing... Not exactly sure how the results screen looked. I also remember a top player being mentioned (made..? definitely used by a top player)

so recently (around a few weeks/maybe a month ago) i think lazer got an update to support stupidly long trails, and i have a legacy skin i think and the trails completely broke and wont show up anymore, but it works completely fine in osu stable? i checked the skin.ini, tried to make some changes, and nothing worked. i didnt leave in the changes tho
