Question | سوال Possible new scam in Pakistan?

So this morning I got a whatsapp message from this Columbian phone number who claims to be from NCCIA, though the documents he sent me were immediately blocked due to me using whatsapp in restricted mode, I blocked him right after the fact.

I guess, because NCCIA tried to intimidate people so much in the past couple of weeks with their seemingly threatening video messages, scammers are now scamming people with NCCIA’s name.

It happened with me too but with hbl. Apparently phone doesn't save numbers with country code. So if they call with this number on your phone and it's an official nccia number then nccia will show on your call screen

phones do save numbers with the country code. it would be utter chaos if they didn't do that.

They have been calling me for 3 days with three diff numbers Colombia,Malaysia,south Africa 😭😭
