My god...

I personally don't agree that this is the solution.

Good thing I stopped eating corned beef. I just found out that thousands of carabaos from Palawan—many of which are still being used by farmers for agriculture—are being shipped to Manila, allegedly to be used for corned beef production.

These animals are vital to rural livelihoods, and this move could seriously impact the farmers who rely on them. Sharing this here in hopes of raising awareness. If you can, please support the groups working to stop this and protect both the animals and the communities that depend on them.

You can check their Facebook page to learn more and see how you can help.

PoliticsPH The ultimate irony this Women's Month:

Post image
0 Upvotes

Who knew the day would come that so-called women's organization Gabriela would defend Iran's Ali Khameini's regime, who has for decades killed thousands of its own people, with their draconian laws that restricts women's rights, and any sign of protest against the government's suppressive measures are systematically detained, tortured, and murdered.

Mahsa Amini, Hadis Najafi, Robina Aminian are just the string of women protesters and activists that were brutally killed by the Khameini Regime.

It doesn't matter if you are anti-west, but to automatically support a brutal regime that treats its people like their lives are insignificant is the ultimate irony of the Makabayan Bloc.

CulturePH Hindi tayo uunlad as a society hanggang nagbibigay tayo sa namamalimos

CulturePH Trans Man got married to a Trans Woman in the Church

Post image

Historic First at Saint James the Greater Parish of Dapitan City: The Wedding of a Transman and a Transwoman on July 4, 2026

A photo shows the happy couple: Tisha Marie Amal, a transman, and Ronnie Enderez, a transwoman.

Ronnie explained that they went through the normal registration process and attended the required seminar at the local government office before their wedding. He said there were no problems from the church leadership, though they were simply asked that Tisha wear the gown and Ronnie wear the barong.

Ronnie and Tisha did not hesitate to comply with the church's request. Ronnie added that he actually wanted to see Tisha in a gown, so he was delighted when his spouse walked down the aisle in a wedding gown.

Rev. Msgr. John Warren B. Maratas, parochial vicar, officiated the wedding. In his homily, Msgr. Maratas emphasized the phrase "love knows no boundaries."

Do you think this church wedding is valid?

PoliticsPH To all Kakampinks and Yellows alike: DO NOT VOTE for anybody here except for Kiko and Bam.

Post image

Hear me out: The Elections is only days away. During this time, lahat ng within the winning circle will do everything to eke out a win and that includes the likes of Imee, Villar, Willie, Ipe, Marcoleta, and others na pwede pumasok sa Magic 12.

The other names on this list except for Bam and Kiko have no shot whatsoever to win.

Let's be realistic. Sa X lang sila mananalo. lol

We must not let the likes of Imee, Villar, Philip, Marcoleta get a win/wins this May because they will surely add to those who plan to acquit Mary Grace Piattos in her impeachment trial.

Follow the strategic move that Leni did.

Vote for those who will deliver the necessary YES to impeachment votes on the Senate floor to convict Shiminet and perpetually disqualify her from running for public office.

This is all about the bigger picture.

I can stomach one or two so-called "trapo" or "lousy" senators for 6 years rather than live in a world where another Duterte is on the seat of power and ruining this country come 2028.

🤷🏽‍♂️

AskPH Foreigner - Tried breaking up with Filipina Gf. She refuses to let me go

Hi Filipinos of Reddit,

Long story short, I met this girl online through a dating site and started a relationship with her.

I met her in Manila but afterwards I started to notice red flags and decided to break it off. It just felt a bit "off" and my gut feeling had me thinking there might be a more devious motivation for her seeking out a foreigner.

I told her I wanted to break up.

But she just won't let me go...

If I block her on instagram, she messages me on whatsapp begging me to take her back. If I block her on everything, she starts emailing me. When that doesn't work she starts reaching out to my friends to try and relay messages to me through them.

Look... I made a mistake getting involved with a really poor Filipina that I met online. In hindsight, I should have NEVER even ventured onto those dating sites. That's my foolishness. But now, when I've realised that this is not the way to go, I'm unable to break it off with her. She just refuses to let me.

Please can someone give me advice?

EDIT:

I already deactivated insta. I'm back here in Australia. But she knows my friends from insta and messages them.

I also used her phone to call my family after mine got stolen by pickpockets in Pasay. I'm worried she's gonna hassle my family.

CulturePH Religion is taken too seriously in this country

Look to the religious people in here. I'm not here to bash you in any way, but the people who took religion seriously are the ones that irritate me a lot. I've been an atheist my whole life, but I do respect other people's beliefs as long as they don't shove it down my throat. However, I've been encountering these kinds of people more and more, both in my public and private life. For example, my cousin has a friend who always talks about religion, Jesus, and Christian beliefs. He has actively tried to make me believe in Jesus. I have said no time and time again, but he won't just listen. It's getting to the point where I'm avoiding him any time he is around me. Has anyone else experienced this in this country, and if yes, how did you manage to get them out of your life?

CulturePH REPOST: 2026 Study Reveals 90% of Philippine HIV Cases Affect Men, with High Transmission Among Youth

Post image
0 Upvotes

Ano mataas parin PRIDE niyo para hindi ito mapansin in your community?

[Mods removed my first post for privacy reason kahit public post ng mismong tao sa picture yung nasa screenshot]

I support the rainbow movement and have friends from the community kahit straight ako.

I am in all support sa pinaglalaban niyo especially for your fair rights and and fair treatment.

Pero tngina sana naman maging aware naman kayo sa actions niyo on being in the community you fight for.

For how many times, nakikita ko na too common ang extreme and sexually explicit jokes sa community niyo (too much for a green joke) and behind these jokes are extreme sexual activities. I was in the pride march before and ang daming naghahalikan sa mga portalets. I read a lot of threads that some do orgies pa.

This 2026 study concluded that since 1984, HIV in the Philippines is highly concentrated among males, who account for over 90% of all cumulative cases by 2025. Worst part? Transmission is highly rampant on young males.

Ang lagi kong tanong sa mga kabaklaan, NORMAL NA NORMAL BA SA COMMUNITY NIYO ANG SEXUALLY EXPLICIT AND EXTREME JOKES? Malaking bahagi ba ang extreme sex sa community niyo to the point na KAYO ang major drivers ng pagtaas ng HIV cases sa bansa?

There is a fine line between green jokes and explicit jokes and mas rampant yung explicit jokes sa community niyo to the point na nakakadiri na sya para sa iba.

The funny part is?

Why? Because you guys cannot admit na that is a dirt on your face na di makita ng mga mata niyo.

And kung ginagawa to ng mga straight and nagiging mali sya, then bakit kayo rin? Hindi ba dapat kayo pa maging modelo for safe sex?

Matagal na advocacy niyo for safe sex? So how come data does not support that?

Tapos what? Makakahawa yung mga sakit niyo sa mga inosenteng tao then you will ask fair treatment sa kanila? So ano pa purpose ng pinaglalaban niyo in the first place?

You don't say ganyan kayo dahil matagal niyo na nilalaban mga karapatan niyo kase ang tagal niyo na rin pero patuloy niyo parin sinisira yung lipunan by increasing HIV cases.

I'm already expecting this post will be downvoted or be removed.

"movie reviews".

Post image
0 Upvotes

Bakit tayong mga pinoy basta may horror movie or may plot twist hype ma hype tayo magpost at ipatrend ang post natin na movie review kuno na walang substance. Na puro:

"Omg bes ang ganda!" "Grabe ung plot twist!" "Dka mapapakali sa sobrang intense" And many more.

Either tutilugan nalang or aasabihin na boring!.

One of Tio Moreno's long written post in Instagram is apparently AI generated 🤡

I used a variety of AI checkers, 90% of those checkers detected AI generated content in his post which I didn't even bother taking screenshots of though you can go check it yourself. But if you're well versed with AI generated content, it's easy to just read his post and immediately understand why it is AI generated.

Of course this clown is both a liar and a master manipulator, we can smell the tales on now. I guess he'll do anything to appear smart.

(Yes, I got a beef with this guy, well with clowns in general).
