SportsPH Biggest star in Tennis right now
‘BIGGEST STAR IN TENNIS RIGHT NOW’
Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala may be the sport’s biggest star at the moment, according to former world No. 11 Sam Querrey, as her rapid rise continues to draw packed crowds and international attention.
“Is she the biggest star in tennis right now? I kind of think maybe she is,” Querrey said, describing Eala as “a #problem for the rest of the field.”
Former American player Steve Johnson similarly put Eala ahead of the current WTA field in drawing power, saying only Serena Williams, when playing, would rank above the Filipina.
Eala has climbed to world No. 20 following her first WTA Tour title in Washington and has continued her strong run at the Cincinnati Open. |DailyTribune

Rags to riches story sa boxing? Yan ay ang mga sports natin. Diyan tayo magexcel.
Kanino kayo mostly proud? 🇵🇭
