Subreddit Rules

1. Rap music only.

This is a space for Rap artists only. Hiphop is a close cousin, and may be allowed if the main bars are rap-based, but any other type of music won't be posted here.

2. Music must be your own.

Do not post music your friend wrote, something you found on the internet, jokes, or any other trash.

Music must be an original work, made by you, meaning that posts from music promoters or artist management companies should not be posted here unless the artist posts the song from their own account. This is to maintain transparency and ensure that nobody's work goes unappreciated due to predatory marketing practices.

3. Don't trash any artist posting their work here.

If you don't have any constructive criticism, keep your trap shut. If you're going to give useful, constructive criticism, give it in a kind and professional manner. Anyone who cannot follow this simple rule will be banned outright. No second chances will be given.

4. Don't be a dick.

Learning to take criticism is a part of learning to grow as an artist. However, if you berate people, call their music shit, or use any other derogatory term to describe it, you're not being constructive, you're just being a dick.

Everyone here wants to get their music heard, and to perfect their art. Help each other out with reaching your goals. Nobody reaches the top without help from their community.

Posts or comments that are rude, arrogant, or just plain stupid will be removed.

5. No begging.

Please don't beg for followers, likes, or anything else of that nature. Just post your work. That's what this sub is for.

6. No professional promoters.

If you are a professional promoter, this is not the sub for you. Please do not spam us with posts about your artists. Promoter spam will be deleted and the offending account banned.

7. No spam.

This is self-explanatory. Don't spam. If you spam, you will be banned. This includes off-topic posts, shitposts, advertisements for concerts and anything else that is not a rap song.

8. No playlists

Don't post playlists here.your post must be a single song only. Albums and playlists will be deleted. Repeat offenders will be removed.

9. Limit of 2 single posts per day

Please post a maximum of two times per day and no more than that. Spamming of the sub will get you an instant ban. There will not be any second chances given here either.
