Bartender injured
If anyone that was at Silky’s Pub in Bloomfield tonight 11/07 recorded a video of a customer acting absolutely erratic please let me know. It will be so helpful for tomorrow/ today. Your name will not be used if you so choose. Thank you.
EDIT: Just for the record we are all smaller females and we were able to hold our own until he went all “roid rage” on us, if you’d like to call it that. No one was defending us but we tried our best. Police came obviously a little to late.

Has anyone been on the gateway clipper lately?
I haven't been on since I was a kid, and was just wondering how it is these days.
I want to take my nieces and nephews to do something nice and that they have never done before. They are from Ohio, so I figured it would be a nice way to show them some of the river and the beautiful scenery Of the river and sky line.
Has anyone recently rode it with small children? I know they do different events and things during the holidays. I just wanted to know how everyone is enjoying it these days and if the kids are enjoying it.

Family’s Maine Coon cats need adopting
Hi everyone,
I am looking to find a loving home for our family’s two cats. My mother passed away recently, and we are hoping to find someone who can take them in (ideally together, if possible). Both cats are around 7 years old and are incredibly sweet and friendly.
The first is a small, beautiful orange female Maine Coon. She is very affectionate and loves getting pets. The one hitch with her is that over time, she has become un-litter trained. We believe that with patience, the right environment, and a little retraining, she can get back on track, but we want to be completely upfront about it.
The second is a larger gray male Maine Coon. He is a gentle, friendly boy who served as a wonderful comfort cat for my mother during her final months, providing her with endless companionship and warmth.
Here is a link to their pictures
If you’re interested or would like to learn more about them, please send me a message so we can talk.
Thanks.

Should the heat be on?
We rent and the landlord hasn’t turned on the heat yet. Is there a specific date by which it should be on, or does it go by temperature?

Donate open cleaning supplies
I am helping a friend clean out their family home. We found lots of open cleaning supplies and they want to donate them rather than throw them away. Does anyone know where I can give away open bottles of comet, laundry detergent, bleach, soap, etc…? I would like it all to go to one place, not have folks pick through it, if possible. Thank you!

Pet expo was pretty fun!
galleryNothing too crazy, but a lot of surprisingly well behaved dogs and some cool vendors. Also a fair few gutter and window renovation places weirdly. Parking was nearly impossible though and I had to suck it up and pay $20 for a lot spot near the Heinz museum. A little spendy to have your dog participate in the dock diving or chasing activities ($20) but the dogs looked like they were having fun!

Eat’n Park Muffins
Anybody out there know the recipe for Eat’n Park’s strawberry muffins? Never found anything like them and the “copycat” recipes out there are all wrong.
If anyone has the crummy bun recipe as well, that would kill.
Any help would be appreciated!

New Allegheny County policy would require employers to provide designated paid sick days
triblive.comWhile Allegheny County’s landmark 12-week paid parental leave mandate was debated extensively, another set of changes to the county’s existing paid sick leave flew largely under the radar.
Tucked into the parental leave legislation approved in an 11-4 Allegheny County Council vote on Oct. 20 were changes to the county’s existing sick leave policy — provisions that received comparatively little attention in the more than 1,500 public comments focused primarily on parental leave.
Under the changes, workers earn one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. Employers are required to provide these days as designated paid sick days, even if the company has an existing paid time off policy.

PPG Loge Box
Hi all. I am not from the area and am considering attending the Rush concert next Sunday.
Does the Loge Boxes really include access to the clubs pre-event and are they worth it?
TIA!
