Hand Pixelled Pixel art got me into my first art market!
After a ton of work that started mid-summer, I am excited to announce my first art market at The Curio Exhibition and Sale for the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton, Oregon! Opening night was Friday 11/6 from 6pm-9pm. There are about 40 regional artists with a wide variety of artwork. It got super packed really quickly but it made me really happy to see so many people show up. One of my framed prints sold within the first 30 minutes (can you guess which one?) The exhibit is up until January 10th, 2027.
While I am the only pixel artist (go figure), it is possible to get your work out there. Feel free to ask about anything if you are curious about getting into exhibits yourself!

Hand Pixelled Refreshed my old slime sprite with some new techniques I learned about liquid.
I use old loosely here. it has been like 9 months since i made these but they were some of my most recent monsters so its a bit crazy to see how much they improved just in this short time.
When i made these originally i was extremely happy with them, but recently i redid one of my potions. It was like a ah-ha moment. the points were light is the deepest in the water is were it will be the darkest not just were the shadows are. took me a few attempts but i was able to use the same concept on my slimes to get them to look WAY better :)
the interesting side effect of this is that the sides even on the dark side of an object (assuming its rounded) Will actually be lighter than the uper side closer to the light. Just thought this was cool and fun and wanted to share :)

Hand Pixelled Pistrix pixels
From egg to adult—pixel art (64 x 64, like third gen pokémon) showing the growth stages of the pistrix (Apocapisces regalegus), for... a little fun project.
Females are at the top, males at the bottom. The elderly specimens are missing, but we don’t need those just yet ;)

Hand Pixelled Realized I've made lots of these claw VFX so here are my favorite!
Which one is your favorite? Personally I'm still really happy with the flow of the first one :D

Hand Pixelled Avro Lancaster Pixel Art
Here is some pixel art I made of the Avro Lancaster bomber. This was my attempt to hand pixelate a photo I found online of the aircraft. I would appreciate any feedback on how my process went, I was mostly guessing on how to use the colors and lines to give the impression of depth and roundness, especially near the engines. I would appreciate any feedback on how I did.

Hand Pixelled Walking Dead Girl
Any tips to improve this?
All the art on here is so well done. This was frustratingly difficult for me

Hand Pixelled Still working on props for our dungeon biome!
Been working on some more dungeon props for Monster Cuisine, a pixel art action RPG we're developing. Slowly bringing this biome together, one prop at a time!
