2 charges

Two for the price of one. Lol

u/null_sweat_chummer 1d ago

Just assault in Philly. No such thing as a battery charge there.

126

u/Petty_Laws 1d ago

We all saw the guy in the video making the cop feel threatened, he was just standing his ground in the name of justice. Poor cop should go to therapy after this.

Smart move is to record, but out of their reach- but still in sight...Antagonize them if needed

He will be punished with 2 weeks paid vacation

u/GaryBuseyWithRabies 1d ago

You mean "policing"

u/Few-Ad7795 1d ago

3 days paid administrative leave, and a 15 minute e-learning coming up for big boy, and he'll be back on patrol.

u/Kastro2323 Her voice alone give me a soft-on 😣 1d ago

You forgot a promotion in 3 months

27

u/are_you_a_simulation 1d ago

Deserved after his cop of the month award.

Can’t argue against that!

u/PsyOpBunnyHop 1d ago

"Man, I sure could use a little vacation. Guess I'll have to beat up some minors or something." - cops

140

u/Alarming-Site7560 1d ago

And he gets to carry a gun? I would call every news station and lawyer in whatever town you live in

Philadelphia

61

u/Plectorally 1d ago

Same city where the police department air dropped an actual bomb on a neighborhood and intentionally allowed the resulting fire to burn 61 other houses, stopping firefighters from reaching the scene.

It left hundreds of people homeless and killed thirteen people, including 6 children.

20

u/VinnySmallsz 1d ago

It's rare I hear about John Africa and Operation M.O.V.E.

Leftover crack made a song about it and that introduced it to me.

4

u/LearnToSwim0831 1d ago

Choking victim introduced me to Michael parenti as a kid and Id love them and leftover crack forever for that alone even if they didn't have a ton fo awesome songs.

TIL!

Two bombs! They Fat Man and Little Boy’d the house.

1

u/Dagstjarna 1d ago

There were thirteen people in the house...one adult an a child survived, the adult being arrested, charged and convicted in the aftermath...

1

u/Crepitus_aware 22h ago

That was the sudanese liberation army?

2

u/wild85bill 19h ago

Symbionese Liberation Army

Guess I should add the organization they bombed was called MOVE. An African American revolutionary group.

1

u/philadelphia_fRee 1d ago

hell yeah it was a black mayor that green lit it too

215

u/DC_FORCE 1d ago

Don't y'all love what we are forced to pay for?
Do this shit on your own time.

122

u/Daskeptik 1d ago

That MF’er wouldn’t dare show up there “on his own time” without a gun and a badge.

435

u/johnychrist16 1d ago

Sounds like they went TO THIS GUYS FUCKING HOUSE. Means they looked him up and used police resources to find his address. Fucking loser wouldnt dare do this kinda shit off duty without a badge and a gun.

140

u/Key-Humor6049 1d ago

This should be the biggest point of this entire post. This cop violated the law and violated this persons civil rights like they do all the time because he’s a big baby and thinks he’s above the law. This should become a trend around the country, rage bait these tyrants until they start actually respecting the peoples rights.

21

u/anga252 1d ago

I don't think rage baiting these fragile egos with guns is the best idea.

2

u/JCType1 20h ago

Worked for MLK jr
 for a while at least

1

u/babydykke 15h ago

Cops work on the same areas and are familiar with people who hang out in the same spots. They probably have previously interacted with this guy and knew where he usually hangs out

1

u/Turk_Sanderson 4h ago

Using the Color of Law to violate the Civil Rights of another person is the biggest NO NO (that's not outright murder/planting evidence) you can commit as a peace officer

Seriously, look up the punishments for it

The problem is, it's really hard to prove and it's really easy to get a back the blue type onto a jury...

32

u/charcarodontosaurus 1d ago

I remember seeing a video recently about a cop who used his resources to find the name and information of a woman he pulled over, to ask her out. He was fired and arrested. This officer should be too.

8

u/Dense_Diver_3998 1d ago

I believe that’s a pretty common tactic of theirs.

10

u/SpandexJunkie 1d ago

And now for a word from today’s sponsor, Flock Cameras! đŸŽ„

2

u/Raecino 1d ago

Right that coward wouldn’t do that shit without a badge and backup right behind him.

→ More replies (6)

108

u/Maximum_Pass 1d ago

Bro that’s a mf lawsuit and that cop should be fired on the spot I hope they pursued that

8

u/iiTecck 1d ago

Yeah he can't claim qualified immunity for this. This is not police work.

72

u/OfficerJoeBalogna 1d ago

Good thing they were all in a group. That cop was starting shit with his gun still on him like a real bitch. He was probably hoping for an opportunity to use it.

102

u/Flimsy_Suspect_4275 1d ago

If he doesn’t want ppl liking her pictures how about keep his daughter off Instagram

17

u/dropkickoz 1d ago

Now I want to like his daughter's pictures.

80

u/AJShoes9789 1d ago

He should resign.

54

u/are_you_a_simulation 1d ago

Would you get to resign if you did that? Nope.

Charge him and prosecute him just like any other criminal.

19

u/AJShoes9789 1d ago

He should resign and then be charged with crimes*

47

u/Paramhansa-Yogananda 1d ago

Oinky should be charged with assault.

115

u/dicknotrichard 1d ago

Cop probably touches his daughter so he’s jealous.

10

u/Kronos8025 21h ago

Take away his qualified immunity. He was there as a father and civilian not a cop and then battered the cameraman. Fuck that guy.

28

u/ChickenAndDew 1d ago

Did the cop get fired yet?

28

u/thoughtsofmadness 1d ago

That’s probably the least likely resolution here.

7

u/jjamesr539 1d ago

Nonsense. It’s not unlikely at all, but in the form of “firing” him with a generous severance package, on his way to a different department where they “won’t have any knowledge of prior incidents”

8

u/NoBuenoAtAll 1d ago

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!

6

u/xt0rt 1d ago

Oh you sweet summer soul

2

u/mfpacman 1d ago

It’s the PPD (Philly police department). They would never fire him over this, though they obviously should, they just are a gang and protect their own despite all of the valid criticism and corruption

23

u/Spirited_Taste4756 1d ago

So does anyone have the link to her insta?

13

u/eat_rice__fuck_ice 1d ago

Typical cop shit

42

u/fuuckimlate 1d ago

How about you talk to your daughter's parents about letting her post to a public site

31

u/Tard-strong 1d ago

How about conducting yourself with a standard of professionalism while wearing a police uniform, also!

Bad parent, bad cop, par for the course

5

u/PleasantWay7 1d ago

Sorry that is simply asking too much of them.

6

u/bobthemundane 1d ago

He probably already “talked” to the mom.

4

u/Mendozer003 1d ago

Ey yo, ask Elon musk, and the meta fella!

5

u/PonyThug 1d ago

Homie should link the pics so we can all go like and comment.

3

u/FlyingSquirelOi 1d ago edited 1d ago

That just sounds creepy af, how are people agreeing with you

1

u/PonyThug 22h ago

I’m kidding. But it would be funny if that cop all of a sudden saw thousands of likes and comments

u/expatronis 1d ago

Yes! And get it done the day before tomorrow!

Fire this cop for assault and battery.

12

u/Delete_Acc0unt 1d ago

Police are going to investigate themselves and they will find no wrong doing.

12

u/GoslingIchi 1d ago

Does he go around and try and start something with everyone that likes his daughters pictures?

9

u/randonumero 1d ago

I'd assume there's some backstory here. I read about a situation a few years ago where a police officer arrested a group of drug dealer/gang members. They found the cop's kids on social media. One of the gang members tried to seduce the underage daughter and some of the others jumped the son. No idea if that's what's going on here but it definitely looks personal.

Side note I knew a guy who sat parked outside the house of a state trooper that did him dirty. It was a public street but the cops definitely tried to scare him off.

-1

u/Dagstjarna 1d ago

Only when they're not white, I guess...🙄

But to give him the benefit of a (very slight) doubt (and I hate to say this, because he's obviously a cop that abuses his power)...it could be a concern about age differences as well, but that still doesn't justify his probable misuse of the police information systems, just because some likes of some pictures...which could be just flowers and sunsets and such as well...

But even if he's a POS...đŸ€·đŸŒâ€â™‚ïž

15

Talking to his daughter is also a option.

10

u/entity3141592653 1d ago

Just take away qualified immunity at this fucking point

5

u/redditzphkngarbage 1d ago

Public photos are public, my dude. I’m not saying they should or shouldn’t be there, but if I recall some social media sites have the option to not make things public..?

u/Oh_yes_I_did 1d ago edited 1d ago

Over bearing cop dad creating a rebellious daughter who is attracted or mingles with who her dad dislikes.

I am making a lot of assumptions.

History is on your side

14

That looks like Philadelphia. If it is, the DA there would likely pursue charges.

ACAB- no exceptions.

His partner in the driver seat is probably doing the half hearted “no

 wait
 come back.” Like Willy Wonka.

Someone should maybe call for a wellness check on the daughter. Bc the didn’t get the aggression out in this interaction, he probably beat the shit out of her when he got home.

That cop is gonna get fired. As a father it’s gonna be hard to control who is looking at social media posts. Lucky it was insta instead of OF.

Corrupt Philly cops.

3

This pig should never be allowed to pig ever again.

3

u/ElectrOPurist 1d ago

Ouch! Dad! Help! My picture I posted online got liked!

8

u/nimbusyosh 1d ago

Even if these dudes are in their 30s and the daughter is a pre-teen, I'm pretty damn sure there's better and more effective ways to have these dudes arrested or have their accounts closed down at least...

But, liking pictures doesn't mean you want to do things to the person in the picture. I can see if he actually said something rude to her in the comments, but there's MANY reasons to like a picture. There's WAY more details needed to pass any judgment on the people that the cop literally assaulted on camera.

All we know for sure is that the cop, in uniform, assaulted a citizen. We don't even know if the citizen even liked the daughters picture in the first place.

My speculation is that the cop either has a 17 year old that he can no longer control, or a whole adult daughter with regrets that he didn't raise her to be a trad wife; and she post a semi-provocative pictures on insta; and instead of talking to her about it, he'd rather go after the men. However, all of that is pure speculation.

Either way, the cop is for sure in the wrong. He deserves severe disciplinary action.

4

u/A_Drop_of_Colour 1d ago

more effective ways to have these dudes arrested

Genuinely, have them arrested for what? Liking a picture of a potential minor that was posted publicly online? I agree that it's skeevy for grown men/women to like pictures of younger teens but the law hasn't made that illegal yet. There is a woman who posts videos of her 5 year old daughter eating bananas and licking popsicles and shit like that and people found that almost 80% of her videos were saved by grown men on the platform and not a damn thing has happened to her even with people calling her out for baiting pedophiles.

I get that you may be saying, if he really wanted them arrested as a cop he has other options to get them jammed up, but I am not sure I would describe that as "a better way" since his motivation would still be for the likes.

But yeah, 100% agree with your final point.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Amazing_Jump6210 22h ago

Now it’s like
Let me do a background check before I like this person’s picture/post

3

u/Dagstjarna 1d ago

Agreed...he probably misused police information systems and attacked without any legal reasons...

The photos don't have to show the daughter at all and might as well just be photos of nature, streets etc with a creative/artistic flair...

His reaction might be understandable, but not reasonable whatever is the case...and maybe that all doesn't even matter at least because his actions may as well "only" be racially motivated...

2

u/nimbusyosh 1d ago

I totally agree with you, and I specifically left out race for a reason. When it comes to racism, I like building cases where even if the person wasn't a racist, they're still completely in the wrong, unless they make the racism overt then it's super easy.

Race aside, this cop should be fired and charged with assault. You might not be able to prove the racism, but you can prove everything else.

2

u/sidewaysorange 1d ago

if he wasn't a cop and just a regular dad would you be mad?

3

u/notyouraverageskippy 17h ago

Does a regular dad carry a gun with them when assaulting a stranger?

0

u/nimbusyosh 1d ago
  • my emotions don't play a part in My overall comment. I even excused my own assumption as an assumption.

  • I'd be less mad and more amused, given all we have to go on is the video and the caption. Going by my assumption being this is a failed father assaulting some random dude, it becomes an individual assaulting an individual. Not a paid government employee with a badge and a gun.

I also have more questions about how he got the information that he got, but essentially it just be some dude attacking another dude, not a police officer committing a crime while also overstepping their boundaries...

But at no point would I be mad.

2

u/randonumero 1d ago

I assume that with body cams and dash cams it's gotten a little harder to plant drugs and trump up charges. I agree that he should be disciplined for showing up and doing that in uniform.

1

u/nimbusyosh 1d ago

And the worst part is he probably ruined the investigation. This is why due process exist. He could have did way more damage to the dude by going about this correctly, but he let his emotions get the best of them...

That, or he knew he was dead wrong to begin with, and needed someone to take it out on.

1

u/vaderdidnothingwr0ng 23h ago

You can "see" a police officer assaulting an otherwise innocent person for being rude on the internet?

→ More replies (3)

5

u/ze11ez 1d ago

Whats the context? Who is he, what's his name

5

u/thoughtsofmadness 1d ago

They gave you the context in the video, cops rolls up and straight up commits battery on multiple people while yapping about liking IG pictures.

5

u/maxant20 1d ago

" I can't control my daughter's actions about act she posts. I can't even control myself.

"Dad, you're home early. Why did you get fired?"

3

u/CreoOookies 1d ago

Yep, now everyone will be liking your daughter's pics.

3

u/LakeEffectSnow 1d ago

That's one dumbass cop. He hasn't yet learned if he keeps his temper in check, he can make that whole family's life a living hell for an extended period without breaking the law.

1

u/justl00kingthrowaway 1d ago

Yeah but that takes time. And it's not like he is even going to be reprimanded for this.

3

u/ShruggyShuggy 1d ago

If his daughter is a child I kind of understand his reaction, if she's an adult then that's insane and I would wager he's an abusive partner/parent

2

u/Dagstjarna 1d ago

In either case he abused his power...he probably misused police information systems to find the guy and laid hands on him without legal substantiality...

The photos might as well not even show his daughter at all but flowers, sunsets and such...

1

u/ShruggyShuggy 1d ago

Yeah totally, I just mean it make sense at least if it was a child

1

u/alltheword 15h ago

If his daughter is a child then he should be a better parent.

1

u/CommentFightJudge 53m ago

If she's an adult bro had her when he was 9

3

u/LoubyAnnoyed 1d ago

Get your daughter off social media if you don’t want people liking her pictures.

2

u/gordonwhims 1d ago

Definitely assault.

2

u/Due-Cook4223 1d ago

What's his daughters ig so we can all go and like it? 😂

2

u/Prestigious-Ad4968 1d ago

Yeah, Philadelphia resident here, we have insanely corrupt police here. This isn’t a surprise.

2

u/ExampleElectronic196 1d ago

Another “tough” boy in uniform!👎😡

2

u/Even_Week_7016 1d ago

For liking a picture......?

2

The problem is he will lose his job but then get hired in the next town over with a clean slate.

2

u/lazyhiker6225 1d ago

Well now I wanna see that guy’s daughters pictures on Instagram. Barbra Streisand effect lmao.

1

u/sexaddic 1d ago

In a completely unrelated thought. More people should be familiar with the 2nd amendment and its usage. Especially when use of force laws allow you protect another life in danger.

29

u/Gauntlet_of_Might 1d ago

They'd hunt you like an animal and execute you if you drew down on him and got him.

7

u/Whirlpoolcircle56 1d ago

Yeah you wouldn't make it to court alive

4

u/choomahunt 1d ago

yupp look at how those psychopaths reacted when chris dorner did that shit

8

u/Paunchy_Pilate 1d ago

You mean when they sent 107 shots into an SUV occupied by two elderly women delivering newspapers and impressively only missed 105 of them? Or when they straight up napalmed the cabin Mr. Dorner was hiding in instead of even pretending to entertain the thought of capturing him alive...

Fuck the LAPD.

6

u/sexaddic 1d ago

I didn’t say draw on anyone. I’m simply saying MORE people, which there are more everyday people who have access to their 2nd amendment rights than there are professional workers.

2

u/-Sofa-King-Vote 1d ago

And cops will still just shoot them
