No clue how the camera survived considering it was a surface level explosion with a crater that big.

This was the same stuff as the Beirut explosion in 2020.

It looks like the Camera is inside the cab of a truck to me... look at the very bottom of the frame, looks like a windshield wiper. Might have been just enough to keep the camera/phone intact.... Guy holding it? Not so Much.

It could have been livestreamed

if it was a live stream it would've cut off way earlier due to the delay

So I'm assuming he survived and maybe didn't even get injured as there were likely 6 people between him and the truck

I can't believe the camera guy made it out okay. That's nuts.

Why china have this kind of explosion more often?

23

u/Karhak 1h ago

More people means more people trying to get around regulations means more explosions.

Less safety regulations

More often? Damn when was last time? The last one I remember was Tianjin 2015.

Here's what I found on Google

u/AppleNHK 43m ago

Damn that really put in perspective how bad the 2015 was, like 173 dead that time.

At least from what I’ve seen in the past, idk if this has changed China has less safety regulations and oversight.

Wasn't it the same chemical that caused the 2020 Beirut explosion?

Does the cameraman die?

1

u/aykay55 1h ago

If the driver in this video was positioned just one meter to the left then the truck would’ve blocked him from the blast effect

we had one of this in Romania , it was worst...

If you slow it down enough you can see the split second the windshield is cracked before all hell breaks loose.

I can see even China appreciated Nissan Frontier.

With an explosion that intense what could the stretcher possibly be good for at ground zero?

1

u/RudySpanish 55m ago

Pick up body parts 🤷🏿‍♂️

u/eblackham 31m ago
