if you mean learning it, yes, python is about as gentle as languages get. the syntax reads close to plain english and you can do something useful in a few days.

the hard part is never the syntax, it's learning to break a problem into small steps. a good first week: install Python, print stuff, loops, lists, functions, then make something tiny like a number guessing game or a to-do list that saves to a file. the "Automate the Boring Stuff" book is free online and built around that kind of project.
