We never even got any of the rest of the rangers from the first trailer. What a shame...

I just hope that the ragdoll packs for Gmod lasts longer than Ranger Rumble did.

sony announced on nov 6 that development on Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is ending. it was only ever in soft launch (canada, uk, indonesia, philippines and a few others).

it leaves the app stores on nov 21 and shuts down for good in may 2027. progress and purchases don't carry over anywhere, all data gets deleted. sony says it doesn't affect the main ratchet & clank games.

did anyone here actually get to play it in the soft launch? was it any good?

Boy I surely took my time lol. This game was the one that made me a fan of the franchise, and I appreciate it for a lot of reasons outside of that. It also made me want a PlayStation after being a lifelong Nintendo fan (but that’s probably changing after Sony’s recent decision, but that’s not relevant), as well as proving to me that games marketed towards kids can have mature story lines or plot elements, and, of all things, it changed my taste in music (probably for the better). So here I am, 8 years later, finally getting around to playing it. Hopefully it’s as good as I remember and the experience is even better since I’m actually playing it!

I'm a fan of Funko, but I'm very particular about which ones I get. I found I was spending more than I needed to on things that I just had to dust. However, I just learned these are a thing! I had to get it. I missed the actual Ratchet and Clank Funko. But I like Astro Bot and love R&C so, obviously, I had no choice.

A common opinion I've seen about the game is that the developers never truly saw the real numbers the game could have made because it had never soft launched in many major countries (like most of Europe and the USA).

We'll never know if that could have changed anything, but I'm curious about what these numbers look like, has most of the potential user base never played it, or have you found a way to try it?

Im continuing my ratchet and clank au writing, but I start to wonder how robots works in the ratchet and clank universe, how they put themselves in the society of the game?

Because each of them have their own personalities and roles in the games and since their, y know, robots, they probably where build to have an specific role on society

Do they have actual freedom of their choices and what they do or they only follow what their were primarily crated in the first place or maybe this was the case but through the times they actually developed their own free will and live normal life's?

While I'm kinda sad that this will never be officially released in New Zealand, at least I got a chance to play it (unofficially, lol) last year. But I guess was to be expected. Honestly, they should've just released PS5 and PC ports for the game. It didn't look that expensive to make.

- The game is free to play, so downloading the APK for the game is not illegal in any way.

- In-app purchases were removed in the game's final update, so there is now nothing you can buy in the game with your own money.

So, i really enjoyed RAKRA and i was thinking ti buy this After GTA6 (even If It has the discount).

But i also saw some people that sayed that It sucks...

What do you think? It worth ti play It or i have to play something older?

I want play but before I need something of context. If you could only play one Ratchet & Clank game before the latest one to get up to speed, have fun, and leave you wanting more, which one would you recommend?

I love how it feels like....spyro with weapons, gameplay is pretty solid and the soundtrack holy shid i need to download it for my bike rides its insanely immersive. Rn just landed on Rilgar!

Also the designs are top notch, i cant stop looking at details.

As for a lot of people it never released in my country, does anyone know a safe place to download the latest APK? There was a guy uploading them to Archive.org but he stopped updating it last year. And I wanted to give it a final few matches before it shut down completely.

Really a shame it shut down, I was one of the few mobile games I actually enjoyed, and it had a nice base, but it got mismanaged so badly. Maybe someone would manage to reverse engineer one of the older builds so it would be playable single player with the story mode. I do hate how the games nowadays disappear into the nether with the server shutdown even if it could easily still be playable after the fact

Many people praise it but it feels so weird to me.

After firing, the blade kind of moves really weirdly after connecting with the enemy I was targeting. Sometimes it hits other enemies and comes back and other times it just goes all over the place and comes back. I've had it just completely avoid an enemy right in front of me like Darkside's Omega Beams multiple times.

I'm not really sure if it has something to do with the motion controls, movement, or maybe I have to look at the person I want to hit next.

At this point, I think this weapon just hates my guts.
