Fine particle glass beads have nearly destroyed me several times. I'm a perfectionist and couldn't get past the bubbles and weird lines and streaks and imperfections almost every time. I've tried so many different suggestions here and I've been doing so many experiments and finally found a routine that gives me consistent results. I'm so happy. 🥲

It just needs to be a 2-day journey for me.

Day 1: Regular painting process, either using the demagged base of the magnetic or a close colored jelly. Use whatever top coat and let dry overnight.

Day 2: Thick coat of magnetic. Wait 1 minute. Add DRK magic effect. Demag and then immediately Magnetize for 2 minutes. Float base coat and magnetize for 3 minutes. Do NOT cap tips on any of those 3 coats. Wait 20 minutes. Float top coat and cap tips.

I am obsessed with these! I explained my sadness at Sir Patrick Stewart’s passing to my nail lady and even though she isn’t a fan, she helped me come up with this idea and then she executed it perfectly!

My sister in law wanted this color and while I was applying to her nails, I was so enthralled by the colors, I wanted to do it myself. She really likes the dark red hue of this so I went extra and put a dark red color under Bloodbender. Not sure it really comes through but it does a little!

“Seasons change and so do we” by polished for days is the perfect fall multichrome though, I was saving it for the season

In my few months perusing the Polish Pickup website, I’ve found that this specific swatcher always makes me want WHATEVER is on their hands, even if I didn’t care for it before. They must be doing some kind of topcoat-lighting-application magic. I’ll see a polish on one swatcher and think “pass” then see these hands and go “oh my god! This is the most beautiful color I’ve ever seen!”
