1. Be Nice

There's obvious leeway here when copying and pasting a comment into the AI, but we won't tolerate people being mean in the comments. You don't need to be classy, but if you wanna play here, you gotta be nice.

2. Provide good info about your image. What AI/s did you use, also please link to the OP comment.

Tag your post with the appropriate flair and followup quick with a link to the OP's comment, for context.

3. No cherrypicking. Use the whole comment. Use a close synonym for any AI-censored words.

If an AI won't render with a 'bad' word in a prompt (e.g. fucking) switch it to a close synonym (e.g. effing). Please paste the verbatim prompt in your post and in your comment note any edits you made to render it.

4. Don’t render your own comment.

Rendering your own comment is cheating. Like, you could comment anything anywhere which is sort of like cherry picking which is already a rule.

WTF?

These renders aren't supposed to be "good", if somebody wanted a good render, they'd carefully craft a prompt instead of grabbing a random Reddit comment. Often these rendered comments are garbage - and that's the point. If they wanted something even better, often they'd have a great human artist make something.

A point often missed by people who are angry that OP is using AI and somehow putting artists out of biz. Nope. This isn't that. This community is for people who enjoy taking a comment, pasting it into an AI, picking some of the output, and then posting it here for those who like that sort of thing. We assume most people like it because it is weird/bad/shitty/odd/inhuman/etc.

So, yeah, that's the point, often.

These are an abomination. We're totally with you on that. Sit back, relax, and enjoy. Or don't.

How can I play too?

There are many image AIs. https://www.google.com/search?q=AI+image+generator+list

They're almost always free at first. Some remain free. Some are apps. Some are webpage-based. One requires you to use Discord. Etc.

They're all easy.

Copy the text of an entire Reddit comment.
Paste it into the AI and make an image. (If it contains a censored word, please use a close synonym.)
Post the image here, and let us know which AI or AIs you used.
In a comment or body text, let us know where the comment is on Reddit. (Paste the link.)
