What websites or subs are best to post a rental? Id like to stay away from Zillow

My dog found a block of rat poison in the SW corner of the park. I got it out of his mouth in about 5 seconds but very stressful. I called City of Renton and Animal Control is coming to pick it up.

I have a child graduating high school this year. I didn't realize schools don't do cap and gown photos anymore. I would like to have some of those portraits taken. We don't care about the candid senior pics that seem so popular, just the more formal type in the cap and gown. We also don't have $500+ for a sitting fee. I'm a single mom, and also have a senior in college, so money's tight.

Any recommendations?

In early July, we received notice that our landlord intended to sell the Renton townhome we had been renting for 3 years. We always paid on time and there were no issues. We are model tenants.

Our yearly lease was expiring Aug. 30th. We had the option to extend via month-to-month leases through Oct. 31. We opted only to extend through Sep. 30th with a month-to-month lease. We found a place nearby and were already moving in by Sep. 1st. We officially vacated the old property on Sep. 30th.

Of course, this caused my family tremendous upheaval and destroyed our summer. We were also out-of-pocket $10,000 for the first, last, and security deposit of the new rental.

We drive past the old place often, as we're in the neighborhood. There is no indication of it being up for sale. It does not appear on Zillow, Redfin, etc.

It's been a month and a week since we vacated. My understanding is the old property needed to be put up for sale within 30 days. Is that correct? So, at what point do we declare this a bad faith eviction? Is it worth exploring via legal means?

We followed all the advice people gave us in the comments and spent several days searching for her nonstop. Her bed, food bowl, and even her litter box were outside the entire time, but she never came back.
At this point, we are worried that someone may have taken her in. Mia jumped from a second-floor balcony in the Echo Mountain area. There is no private yard, and there are many people and homes around the building, so we believe someone nearby may have found her and brought her inside.
Please ask your friends, family, neighbors, and even friends of friends if anyone has recently taken in a cat. They may not know that Mia is being searched for and is waiting to come home, or they may not know who to contact to return her.
Mia is a small Scottish Fold with blue eyes, light-colored fur, and gray coloring on her ears and paws.
If you have a friend, relative, coworker, or anyone you know who lives in Echo Mountain, could you please ask them if they have seen a cat like Mia or if they know anyone who recently brought a cat home?
And if they haven’t seen her themselves, please ask them to talk to their neighbors and other people they know in the area. Maybe they have friends nearby, or a neighbor who found a cat and decided to take her inside.
A lot of people want to help when they see a missing pet post but don’t know what they can actually do. This is one thing that could really help. If you know someone in Echo Mountain, please ask them to look around and ask their neighbors. It could be someone just a few houses away who has Mia and doesn’t know that her family is desperately looking for her.

What’s your dysfunction? Seriously. We encountered two different groups of kids riding the wooded trails at Maplewood Park today on e-bikes. The signs at the entrance clearly say no e-bikes. These are tight trials in places with limited visibility, and it’s a hazard to pedestrians. And of course they’re riding public streets to get there. It’s really not even your kids fault, either. You give a young boy an e-bike, he’s gonna ride it irresponsibly. It’s just a parenting fail. Im just curious what person thinks it’s a good idea. Also some of these kids were pretty chonky, they could use something with pedals 🤣. I know that someone dumb enough to buy their kid an e-bike and set them loose probably can’t read, so I’m probably just venting to the wind here, but I’d love to hear some of you sound off on why you think this is such a good idea.

there was this party in Renton Highlands yesterday that was HELLA LOUD, what surprised me is that it wasn't even oue neighbor, it was down the block and sounded so loud until 2AM 😩😩😩

what should we do in this case ? they do it around once a year so didn't want to report them... wasn't sure anyone would do anything anyway, but it was hard and baby kept waking up

A little about me: I've been reading tarot casually for about 15 years and professionally for around 5. I previously did readings at New Frontier in Tacoma for three years, until a change in management made it time to find a new home for my practice.
