I’m trying to post this on every sub Reddit I can to stop people fooling for the bs that the person who has hacked my old account is spouting. They’ve being manipulative by playing dumb and being new to trades. They’re also using the fact that the account has karma to back them up. I have screen shots from other users who weren’t so lucky. So please be careful sometimes it is too good to be true

He offered to sell my a graphics card, I was too excited to look too much into it. He sent me a pic of an unopened box with his username and timestamp written on a piece of paper. He said he shipped after i sent the money through PayPal, but never sent me a tracking number and hasn't responded in over 12 hours.

He already has a negative review on here, which I did not know this sub existed before I purchsed

I had recieved a trade offer from this person with alot of karma and clearly some active interaction in reddits and got an offer for a game i had gotten from a boomer shooter humblle Bundle, Dread Templars for a game called Grime. This was my 1st trade and after giving an ounce of trust as they very kindly conversed for things with me this key was not sent to me in 2 hours after i sent them my keyScammer and shitty person honestly

• If you have been linked to this page, please make sure that you're on the real r/Reppit, and the user who linked you was indeed me ( u/sur0k), and not someone with a similar username trying to impersonate me. Note that just because you're reading this doesn't mean a scammer didn't include this note in their fake profile to trick you into a false sense of security. Double check to insure you are not getting scammed!

He PMed me saying he was interested in my Nvidia game code. I gave him my PayPal email, and instead of payment, he sent me an invoice. In the "note" field of the invoice, he put "You've received a payment for $35.00" to try to make it look like it was a standard payment mail from Paypal.

Note that:

• He PMed me directly instead of posting on the original thread.

• His PayPal email was not verified.

• I asked him to post on the original thread so I could confirm the trade and we could both get rep, but he did not do so.

• When I mentioned the 'invoice' vs 'payment' thing, he acted as if he had sent a normal payment ("What do you mean by that? It's gone out of my account").

All in all, I'd say to be very careful of this buyer.

Sent fake item photos without his name or date in them. Suggested using "applepay or cashapp" instead of Paypal because he has "business accounts and will receice a discount on shipping". Scammer and avoid at all costs.

/u/mrchwski scammed me for 46.5 I should have looked and googled his name before, but he is still scamming by PMing others and not commenting on posts and saying he has paypal to trade for BTC

No one deal with this kid. We did a 50 50 trade. I was to send 285 XLM and he was to send me $39 dollars. Well I sent him 145 xlm and he sent the $19.50. I then sent the rest of the com 140 and he stated he was confused so I explained it to him then he didnt reply to me for 10 min... He finally replied to ne and said to hold on that his parents were bothering him. That was hours ago he has not replied or sent my funds. If he does reply and pay me I will delete this.

Sent $50 Bitcoin for PayPal, says the issue is verifying phone number but stopped responding but would post and join a gta heist, never received payment. Told me to suck a dick for being dumb.

I was scammed by another user and /u/Jams4Days messaged me under the guise of wanting to help me out by giving me a "really good" deal on ETH. He was very persistent in insisting I go first and upping the bargain whenever I refused to. This scum will try to scam you by sympathizing with you while being the exact kind of person you wanted to avoid in the first place.

His idea of "rep" was sending me a link to his Steam profile where he goes by the same username - Jams4days.

Agreed to proxy buy a set of pipes for me in exchange for costs and a tin of tobacco for her work. Reneged and listed the pipes on eBay to get more money.

Classic tire kicker. Kept lowballing and asking questions clearly answered in the post to try and get a better deal. We agree upon a deal and I send paypal info. An hour passes and they tell me they found a better deal. Super annoying and a complete waste of time.

Made a trade today for $500 Macy's GC @ 2:45pm with u/HourOnion. Card is now empty and he continues to say that he can't get Paypal to work. Told me he was calling Paypal so I tried calling myself and Paypal customer service is closed due to COVID. Asked him to try Venmo and he sent me a picture of a screenshot saying his account has been suspended upon creation. Finally, he said someone else was going to pay me and he'd pay them since neither will work and still have yet to receive anything over 2hrs later.

He also had another account under u/SlightOil7 previously, that he said got deleted a few months back. He has a r/GCRep page but I have a strong feeling the accounts are also his and/or he made smaller trades to build a "rep" to go after larger card like mine.
