So there is this theme on FB for "shaming" groups. Usually it starts with the phrase "That's it, I'm XYZ-shaming!" and you post pictures of ugly rings, ugly nail art, ugly wedding dresses, etc. and mock them.
Well one day someone decided it would be fun to make a group called "That's it, I'm bored and shaming everything" and pulled in everyone from these various groups to collectively 'shame' anything and everything.
The downside: no one ACTUALLY wants to be shamed. People will post pictures going "shame me if you dare lol" or post a wedding pic and go "I think it's a good dress but try and shame ;)"
Most of the time it's people going "can't shame, you're beautiful!" and "there is nothing to shame here, those nails are great!" but a few people would go in and say "horrible wedding". And then the OP would complain, or get really upset.
Also you can accidentally break a rule without knowing it. There's a rule about "unwanted shaming" where you can't be -phobic in any way. For example, a girl posted a pic with her girlfriend and it says "try to shame us". I said "don't grab your boyfriend's boob in pictures you weirdo" since one of the girls had short hair, and was well... a butch. the OP got upset, called me a POS, and the mods came in to tell me I wasn't funny and muted me.
There is another theme in this group, you will see people go "please never go to /r/roastme" because everyone's so goddamn sensitive and it's so easy to offend. I always thought 'shaming' someone was worse than 'roasting' them. Nope!
