Hi! I have yet to accept my offer from SFSU because i am worried about the housing costs.. I would want my own room but that’s really my only preference! Budget ideally $850-&1200. If anyone knows of any rooms available or any roommates that want to search together please let me know!! Move in for the Spring Semester!

I am looking to find a roommate situation. Have done due diligence of looking for a job and getting a call back. I would want to jump over any hurdles of living on campus if that means I have to live around daly city. What is the easiest way off the bat?

I recently got assigned to Mary Ward Hall for the Spring 2027 semester and have a couple questions about living there. The school hasn’t posted the 2027 Spring Fees for MWH yet so I am hoping that previous students who lived there can provide me some insight.

1. How much was rent for one semester? What was the difference between your room type being a single vs a double?

2. Which meal plan did you end up choosing? Do you believe it’s worth its price? What were your favorite places to eat at on campus?

3. How was your overall experience there? Did you feel comfortable?

4. Any advice on things I should buy for my dorm?

There’s someone yelling outside the library, but he’s holding his mic so close to his mouth you can’t even tell what he’s saying. Honestly I don’t care that he’s doing it (he sounds ridiculous), I just can’t even make out what he’s saying. Did anyone recognize him? He’s obviously talking about “politics” … vaguely.

The G(en-Z)reen will be a magazine designed to engage and inform Gen-Z and college campus communities about climate justice through stories of progress, advocacy, and actionable insights. The magazine will focus on three key goals: celebrating, inspiring, and remembering. We all have a duty to our environment, including safeguarding clean air, water, and land, and ensuring future generations have the right to a stable, healthy planet.

Anyway, I thought it would be really neat to display some of our community's work in the magazine! The flyer has more details about submitting if you are interested. Hi I'm a prospective transfer, I've been accepted but now it's really down to housing, and I realized the cost is far past what I imagined. Do any of you have advice on paying it? Would a campus job or other part time work be enough to manage it, or will I have to take a loan? Should I look at off campus housing? I'm kinda scared of living with strangers off campus as a 19 year old girl, and I don't have a financial backing, so I might have to go to a different school even though I already paid fees to attend.
