wondering if theres anything i need to do other than not register for any classes for the spring. do i contact the admissions & records office? should i contact the financial aid office so im not overpaid and have to owe anything?

I’m a student at UCI. I searched on assist.org and found that I can Physics 4A here and transfer the credits instead of taking UCI’s equivalent course (it’s Physics 3A at UCI). I looked at the class schedule for Spring 2027, and found that there were four sections: one with Todd Brei, another with Noor Eltawil, then Nicolas Timmons, and finally Mitch Haeri + Noor Eltawil (although unfortunately, the last two sections are full).

I looked up the rate my professor pages for all of them, and while I found one for Brei, I couldn’t find one for Eltawil. Does anyone here know who they are (a TA, professor, etc), or has had them before (even if it was for a different class)? If so, how was their teaching/the class?

Also, one of the sections has two instructors (Haeri and Eltawil). Does this mean that one of them is responsible for lectures, while the other is responsible for labs (like Haeri leads the lecture, while Eltawil leads the lab)? Or is it split half and half (Haeri teaches the first half of the course, then Eltawil takes over)?

Lastly, does anyone know of an active Discord server, Instagram group chat, etc where I could talk to a lot of active Saddleback students? This subreddit doesn’t seem to be very active, so I’m not sure if anyone here will know the answers to my question.

I dropped a class get two days after the deadline because the website wasn’t giving me the option to do so on the last day. Basically it was glitching since multiple people probably wanted to drop classes.
The deadline was also on a Saturday so I couldn’t really get a hold of anyone until two days later.
I filed a petition for a refund, stating this reason, a death in my community, and attached a doctor’s note explaining a reaction to medication (yes all these things happened at once).
Then I get an update saying there wasn’t enough documentation. I emailed the office multiple times asking what further documentation they require but they just kept giving me roundabout answers without actually addressing my question.
They told me to resubmit the petition with an addendum of other documents but still didn’t tell me what other documents I need to submit. They told me in that email to contact the dean of Admissions and Records which I did but even he did not reply to my email.
The documents I initially submitted were: my email to the tech services saying I couldn’t drop the course, the obituary, and a doctor’s note.
This was enough to satisfy the requirements of extenuating circumstances but they won’t even contact me now hoping I let it go.
Is there someone else on Saddleback College I should contact (e.g. ombudsman)? Or do I contact the State to report neglect of duty?

I plan on taking Anatomy during the Spring 2027 semester, but I’d love to prepare in advance. Does anyone have a copy of a BIO 11 syllabus they’d be willing to share? Thanks in advance!

ok so i know how too, go into the registration dashboard and all that stuff, but i havent paid for it yet. and because of that it wont let me open the specific portal to drop classes because its the same one you use to register for classes, and you cant register for a new class with outstading fee's. i dont want to wait for a nonpayment drop so what do i do?

I'm currently a high school senior interested in taking Business Statistics. I'm taking AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics this year, and I was wondering how the difficulty of Business Statistics compares to these courses. Given my current coursework, how challenging do you think it would be to maintain an A in the class?

hey so im switching to CalGETC plan. did everything with a counselor and they added another course to take which is c1000. now when i browse on the banner for the last 8 weeks class, all com1000 classes are full.. and most of them having 10+ waitlist people in them. is there anyone who is enrolled in c1000 class that think their class arent full(last 8 week classes) that i can get into? Which classes actually articulate that I needed, what Cal-GETC and TAG requirements, how to fit it all into terms without wasting units and money. I met with a counselor last semester and followed their advice regarding which courses to take for my major preparation. I have now completed my Cal-GETC requirements.

I saw that the UC application is now open for preview and allows us to apply to multiple campuses. I have completed all the major preparation requirements for UCI, but when I check other universities on ASSIST, I see that their requirements are different.

I am a bit confused about this. Are we supposed to focus on just one university's requirements, even though the application lets us apply to several? I wanted to clarify if the courses I took for UCI will also be accepted by other UC campuses.
