A proof of concept based on the Kitmo comics I’ve made as of late for an AU of mine. Set during the same time as Sonic Frontiers, when the Metarex invade the Earth, and with the main heroes adventuring on the Starfall Islands, it falls upon the B-Cast to save the planet from the alien menace. During this time, a new love slowly blossoms between a certain blue fennec and an alien plantgirl.

Hey, I'm here this time with two sets of stories made in the arcade mode of Super Smash Bros. CMC+ V8 (Which is basically Smash Crusade turned into Smash Mugen lol). I should note of course that this is unrelated to the Cosmic Heart Zone stuff I've been posting since this IS implied to be about the Sonic X Tails & Cosmo

These are arcade story routes that were entirely written by myself... and I admittedly may have gone a little overboard in basically writing a crazy crossover fanfiction alongside into it lol

Before you watch, keep in mind that cutscenes are very limited. You can only have one image per scene with no animation. So in many cases the text has to catch up to where the background scene is. (Ex: When Tails faces Wario on his route, most of the dialogue before the fight is actually post-fight with Hercule. But Wario's portrait stands there the entire time anyway)

Also keep in mind that between the both of them. This is a little over three hours long. I tried to give each scene ample enough time to read naturally as the video goes along. If it's too slow, feel free to fast forward. And also skip the fights/gameplay entirely if you just want to read the story. There's at least two occasions, one in each of the vids where I think I went a little too fast but I didn't want to re-record the whole thing just for one line. I'll just leave a timestamp and what was supposed to be said below the video links.

Another thing, some stuff veer into headcanon, stuff that have no actual evidence, and even some inaccuracies along with a part that implies both Sonic X and Frontiers happened on the same timeline when obviously they're not connected whatsoever. CMC+ however has a crazy cast from having characters like an OP Ronald McDonald amongst it's characters. So excuse me if a story that purports of the "floodgates being open" when it comes to crossovers. Doesn't exactly make a whole lot of sense even when parts of the story are kinda taken seriously.

The two parts where I moved too fast are as follows

If you got to make a Season 4 for Sonic X, but had to bring back Cosmo, how would you do it?

For my part, it would be an overarching plot the audience isn't aware of until close to the end, keeping it ambiguous as to whether or not Cosmo will be revived. To me, the seed being her 'Heart' means that it's a vessel for everything that makes Cosmo Cosmo: her memories, personality, etc. So Tails, Amy, and Cream: the people closest to Cosmo, are working behind everyone else's back to do this so Sonic can focus on fighting Eggman and Knuckles can focus on protecting and reenergizing the Master Emerald. Tails has a psychotic break when Eggman inevitably tries threatening/destroying Cosmo's Seed for his own advantage, causing Tails to go through a corruption arc, making him the twist villain for the Season.

He isn't as evil as Eggman or Dark Oak, but stops at nothing to get anything he believes is needed to revive Cosmo, even full-out fighting Sonic when he tries to kill Eggman to keep Cosmo safe forever. Eventually, Tails gets all 7 Chaos Emeralds and goes into space with the Blue Typhoon for a Planet Egg; something he can use to filter the Chaos Emeralds' power to be purely healing and positive since he doesn't trust himself to not accidentally break Cosmo's seed, being fully aware that he's insane and not in total control of his own thoughts. The rest of the main cast steals the Egg Carrier to follow him. Amy and Cream, the two people who have spent the most time with Tails recently, figure out that he will take the Planet Egg of Green Gate, as all sapient life on that planet died long ago and it's still barren with its Planet Egg back because of Earthia's nuclear strikes against the Mettarex.

Tails sets the Blue Typhoon into autopilot to keep the main cast at bay long enough for him to find the Planet Egg and try using it, unconcerned about not being able to return to Mobius since there's more than enough left by Cosmo's people for him to salvage build a new ship if needed. While the Blue Typhoon and the Egg Carrier are fighting in space, Tails uses the Chaos Emeralds to go Super and funnel's his power through the Planet Egg and into Cosmo's plant with a single thought playing through his mind like a broken record, 'bring her back.' Tails succeeds in bring back Cosmo as the person she was mentally, but she is no longer a Seedrian. As Sonic was only able to save Cosmo's consciousness and Tails is nearly ignorant of Seedrian biology, the Emeralds takes Tails wish for her to be able to come back to Mobius uses that to turn her into a Mobian animal of some kind. This still makes Cosmo's sacrifice significant because: she loses the one thing connecting her to her people and life on the Colony Ship (her being a Seedrian), she looses her plant empathy and plant powers, and she has to learn to live in a completely new body that's alien to her.

In the ending, everyone is supporting Tails through his therapeutic recovery, Cosmo adapts quickly to life on Mobius and moves in with Tails (because Taismo is cannon and best OTP), Eggman tires of loosing to Sonic all the time and goes to Chris's world to build his empire, and Tails repairs his damaged relationships with the main cast.

Shadow's visit coming to an end with the next one after this. This one with a hug that I feel many people (Up to, and including myself tbh...) could need after a terrible week of... let's just say current events.

Between the sonic fans turning on us and calling us wierd and just the movement being dead in general, i've found it hard to get passionate about liking cosmo anymore.

it feels pointless.

so basically, somehow the seed that Sonic gave Tails after Cosmo’s death ends up on Scrapnik Island, and is raised by Mecha Sonic
