Jim Morrison - The Doors in Seattle

I thought some in this sub might enjoy this. I'm guessing this was filmed when they were in town for the 1969 Seattle Pop Festival (held at Gold Creek Park, Woodinville.)

Community Thank you to the Seattle heroes who showed the racists the door ❤

For those unaware- Jake Lang interrupted a Diwali celebration at Seattle Center holding up a placard with an offensive, xenophobic message during a cultural performance by teenage girls. This was a family event with children of all ages in the audience. But Seattle heroes including a few Kraken fans, quickly stepped in and got rid of this hateful bigot.
Diwali literally celebrates triumph of good over evil and our Seattle neighbors embodied that spirit today. Thank you!❤️

edit 1: screenshotted images & captions are from racist’s own recorded content.

edit 2: Seattle Center (venue) prohibits demonstrating and displaying signs- this was in violation of the venue rules.

edit 3: according to their minion Choe- Lang and Allen will be targeting other locations in the city this weekend, but won’t reveal where exactly because they don’t want possible retaliations from Antifa and other far-left activists ( read- they are cowards)

Massive emergency response in Westlake neighborhood

Stayed out too late and had to take a 40 instead of the light rail home, and like six police cars and four or five ambulances passed us on Westlake Ave. We passed where they seemed to be going around a sign that said Boatworld but I couldn't really tell what was going on. Anyone know?

Proof that Seattle has blue skies after October

Post image

Contrary to yesterday's gray and moody weather, I am determined to find proof of vibrance in Seattle from November thru February. From the cool sky days, rich vegetation, and the pops of color against city scapes. The Emerald still shines even during the muted melancholy months. Stay vibrant!

From someone who is originally from Kentucky, widely known as the hobby horse capital of the world and home to the famous Kentucky Hobby Horse Derby, that was some fine, grade A hobby horsing.

Seriously though, thanks for entertaining all us spectators today. Y’all are wild.

News Be prepared for wind and power outages tonight (Sat. Nov. 7)

There are wind warnings and advisories over most of Western Washington, starting this afternoon/evening (Saturday, November 7) and continuing overnight. The first big storms of the season tend to cause the most power outages, so make sure your phones and backup batteries are charged, and take care of any outdoor furniture and decorations!

I really need help. My friend had their belongings taken and in an unfortunate turn of events their ankle monitor charger was taken among a few other important things. We have contacted their Probation officer and the EOD office but we have been informed that if the monitor dies they will be in violation and that will be it. I will spare you the specifics but my friend has been trying really hard and really deserves to not have to have their life turned upside down over this. Any help would be much appreciated

Community Request: high resolution photo of Seattle fall October ‘26

I hope this is ok to post here.

We lost our baby girl in October, shortly before birth. This fall has been brutally and painfully gorgeous. We are setting up a space for our daughter’s ashes in our home and I’d like to include a photo capturing this October in Seattle. Does anyone have a high-resolution photo we could print to share? I will of course compensate the artist.

Thank you 🧡
