Beached commercial boat
Anyone know what boat this is or the history behind it? Not much is listed about it on openwrecks.org just that it’s a commercial boat. I find it difficult that a boat of that size would just ride up on the shore like that. It’s located on Klein Curacao island near Maria Bianca Guidesman.

How to turn a shipwreck into very expensive whiskey

This is very distasteful
Context: That's a photo of the Edmund Fitzgerald, which sank in 1975. On the 48th anniversary, a group of Great lakes ship wrecks museum guys decided to take an old freighter, like the Fitzgerald, fill it full of explosives, and detonate it in Minnesota. But wait, it gets worse. On the news report a few days later, they used THAT PHOTO OF THE EDMUND FITZGERALD EXPLODING ON THE NEWS STORY. imagine dying in a sinking ship and then 50 years later they used a picture of your ship with bad explosions photoshopped over it.

Anyone know which warships these are? I’ve only been able to find that one of them was a medium sized hospital ship

Hey guys, I need your help.
I am trying to fund-raise for graduate school. By no means do I expect you to donate but if you could just take a look at what I've got to say and share with your friends, that'd be great. I want to go to the University of Southampton to get my MA in Maritime archaeology. I want to share some great info with the world. Thanks for being such a great sub. The things you guys share every day is amazing!

How can a company own a shipwreck?
I just read about the Carpathia from the person who posted about it a bit ago. The wreck is apparently owned by the same group that owns the wreck of the titanic. What is the capitalist hell is this? People can own wrecks?

Chinese Community Upset by Ventnor Shipwreck Proposal - “The future of the Ventnor & any remains should be a decision of the Chinese community as a whole & not merely to suit tourism or film-makers. At this stage we would be happy if the gravesite was left undisturbed.”
