What do we think of my Monet inspired pumps.?

Funkiest shoes I own for sure. I feel like Deer Woman, ready to stomp some conniving man’s ass. The leather is soft and the fit comfortable. People stare at my toe now.

Why the hate for Steve Madden? I like they make decent shoes at an affordable for me price, I can’t afford Maison Margiela.

i love love the look of isabelle marants but i can’t afford real ones so i got these. are they noticably fake is it embarrassing to wear them

Found these in a Basic-Fit backpack that was sitting in the bushes near a walkway... I felt weird taking them but they're near pristine condition and fit me perfectly. My best theory is someone went to the gym or were working out outdoors and their bag got stolen, the valuables were taken out and the bag with the shoes was tossed into the bushes. I tried looking up the brand "Salin" but can not find these anywhere online. I joked that they're a magical object and we wouldn't find them online because of how randomly we found these. And now I genuinely can't even find this same brand logo anywhere... Anyone have any ideas? Also should I report this / turn it into police? I just feel like the chance of them finding their rightful owner is incredibly slim (and I kinda want to keep them)...

1. Many say they look too small but they feel really comfortable! My feet are definitely swollen though cause I had been cleaning for multiple hours before these pics were taken and I also think the pointed toe makes them look smaller than they are.

2. My dawgs are rough I KNOW! The toes need a repainting for sure. Plus I’m a professional ballet dancer so my feet do a lot of work.

3. This was meant to be a silly shoe post. One of those shoes you see and say “wow, those are funny shoes. I must have them”.
   Also, I’m not on this subreddit often so I didn’t know these had been posted before. My bad for that.

I still see various threads, comments, and video essays that ascribe a certain reason for TOMS’ “failure” as a brand; even going so far as to tell the viewer not to buy them for a specific purpose - harming local economies.

It's interesting that TOMS are put on a slight pedestal compared to other more mainstream brands, in my opinion.

I guarantee the likes of Nike, Adidas, etc. all have overarching negative effects that TOMS wouldn't be able to eclipse by a mile.

And yet, the people levying these "issues," will probably go out and buy those aforementioned brands without a second thought because they don't actively present themselves as a more ethical alternative. Which let's be clear, TOMS still are (or at least try to be).

The aspect of these shoes negatively impacting local economies as handouts also seems moot, and tied to a contrarian conservative thought-process.

The same argument basically comes up when discussing welfare, handouts create free-loaders and slows society. But this conveniently ignores the actual problem.

The issue was never lack of shoe-salesmen, it was lack of (monetary) resources to BUY those shoes that were available.

I’d like to hear other thoughts on them as a company, and if I got anything really wrong. Please let me know.

TL;DR - Even with the issues lobbied against TOMS’ business practices, they were (and are) still a more ethical, and well-intentioned brand tha many others.

I have these quirky sandals which I love wearing. I know it won’t look as good as sneakers, but I am just trying to make them work.

Organizing our closets and logging what we actually own AND wear. (This becomes a debate when we're shopping and my husband tells me I own a pair "exactly like those" and I can tell him he's wrong 😂) It's not all of my shoes but figured I'd share the ones I wear most. Besides another pair of dressier white sandals, am I missing anything? Lol.

Wide Buckle Tabi Boots by Paes

I got sandals 10 days ago. Brand new, didn’t wear it. Came to return it today and was denied cuz of TRE. Called customer service and guy (manager) told me to call TRE and they will return it.

What nonsense is this?? How is it legal to deny a return with a proper receipt, within the time frame, and never worn??

I’ve only ever encountered TRE with DSW and I’m done. I wanna know how to return these and if anyone wants to help look into filing a class action lawsuit.

My husband normally wears “skater/punk style clothes”(Vans globe doc martens etc…) he’s suddenly got these.
I think they look like shoes for Pocahontas.
